You white folks and europenized lost black folks are amazing. We do not need perms and hot combs social acceptance. For centuries we were ridiculed for our black skin and big lips, now you folks get your lip injections and daily radiation to replicate what we have naturally. The Dreadlock is the crown of the original black man and in todays society it a statement of consciousness.

am i the only one who doesnt like his look today? long dreadlock-ish hair which is always tied up untidily, beard, hippy clothes, trying to be individualistic. he looked so much more wholesome in the 90s when discovered...
Let's get some perspective here, Savion may indeed be the best around today, though you can only afford such an accolade to siblings Harold and Fayard Nicholas, or the majestic Jimmy Slyde; who with their peers from the 1930s to mid 50s were, and always will be in a class of their own. Impressive as he is, Savion appears almost ponderous in comparison to these super stylish orignal hoofers, whose captivating flair, boundless innovation and divine-inspired musicality are simply unmatchable.
@boundlessvoice Agreed, he's definitely gorgeous. I saw him live in 2007 - I was in the front row and he touched my hand when he was on his way offstage. I briefly entertained thoughts of marrying him. Ha.
I've loved tap dancing ever since i could move, and the moment i saw gregory hines and savion glover perform, it inspired me more than anything else. They are both simply amazing performers with their simply amazing rhythms.
I was watching The Nicholas Brothers Video, 'Stormy Weather' and someone told me to check out Savion, whom I'd never heard of. He has a very odd, yet appealing style. But I'm not sure he's better than The Nicholas Brothers. He actually reminds me of Gregory Hines, but a much better version.
I saw Savion live in Saint Louis at the Fox and he is so awesome. Just seeing what he can do with his feet makes me want to continue to tap so i can at least be almost as good as him.
he is more than just a tap dancer he is a ledgend i have been tap dancing since i was 10 and i am no where as good as him its amazing
