2 great tunes, not well mixed, it's out of time. From a dancing perspective I'd be thinking....just cut your losses and switch...and make it quick before it gets to a bit that sounds even worse. You could get the 2 working together, just don't make the assumption that it has to be continuous.I don't care if it's a big dj or a bedroom dj....if it works it works and if it doesn't it doesn't. take the comments and make it better, it could be sooooo beautiful, just a bit more work.

I personally own both of these records & have tried to match these beat for beat. Say what you want about it but this is an expert execution of the two. The drops in this song don't happen at easily transitioned points to make it as hype as this has turned out. I'm willing to admit I'm wrong but back it up with a link to a better version. I'll be all ears & excited to hear how it turns out. But as it stands, this mix still raises the hair on the back of my neck.

What I am trying to say is that I think this is a homemade attempt to copy something that one of those guys have performed.

The beats are poorly matched, the phrasing is all wrong and sounds home made. The idea is good, but the structure is all over the place.

Don't get me wrong, I love both Marco V and Tiesto, but this is technically terrible from a DJing perspective.

lol, I have seen Karass play live twice (once on the same night as Marco V), I listen to his radio show when I can and I can assure you that I have never heard him mix as poorly as this guy. Quite the opposite in fact, I would say that he is one of the best kept secrets in dance music and is most certainly capable of better.

Technically a lot of the guys who market themselves as producers these days are questionable as to the credibility of their claim at best so in truth it's not really about how well you DJ or produce but your marketing power.

I don't agree with your statement though, as I would say that the DJ is the central role in the Dance community, producer or not.

But yes I do produce and have released records in the past, but I do it for fun these days. : )

I think a more precise claim would be: If you start out as a DJ, the ultimate goal for you is to be a producer, and if you start out as a producer, your ultimate goal is to be a DJ. Make sense right?

I have also seen him play a few times and he is actually really good. All he did was actually to pass a comment that was true, i.e. it's crap, he's just a lot more polite than me.
