@TheDweed serato only works if you use their proprietary box - you can't just use any old sound card with it.

HOWEVER, the X1 IS NOT a sound card, it's a midi controller which Serato does support. Basically to use the program you need a Serato box for the audio, but any USB midi controller is supported to control functions in the software.

So yea, basically you're wrong and you should inform yourself before you call anyone an idiot.

@VikTheRebel well, 57SL buttons are not that good you know. And it's more practical to use some midi controller because you have more options available (in 57SL you have to change between 'groups' to select wich functions you want at the time - the effects group, the cue points group....)
