  • When you working on these Atari and Coleco games, were you working for Coleco or for some independent software house?

    Thanks.

  • I worked for Gordon Martin Assoc. who worked for Product Guild LTD. who worked for Coleco...I never worked directly for Coleco.

  • ho yes the old times of atari 2600!

  • didn't this have a steering wheel.. I seem to remember having stuff for this game...

  • No, the game was never released for the 2600. This is video from the only known copy of the prototype to exist.

  • Thank You Very Much for showing us this 2600 Sega Turbo prototype clip - i like it a lot

  • @arhenderson2006

But the ColecoVision version did have a steering wheel included with it.

  • Clecovision had a steering wheel for playing TURBO.

  • Did Matt from Atariprotos contact you yet?

  • Yes

  • Pretty cool. I don't have hours to dig through AtariAge threads so I'll ask here. How was this proto discovered? Turbo was on of my favorite classic driving games. Spent many a quarter at a local pizza joint playing the hell out of it.

  • I rediscovered the Turbo proto while looking through a box of old ColecoVision hardware and accessories stored in my attic.
