While people from both sides are killed, its an organised killing of a single group, & people denying it are not unlike holocaust deniers. He doesn't direct anything at the Turkish people, but at the Turkish government. There is a very distinct difference. With the control that governments have it's important to be aware of what they're doing wrong. He might not point out this about Armenia, but it's irrelevant to what he's fighting for: to recognise the near extinction of a group of people.
