only the electric guitar's tone a little off BUT the bass, it's so close to mendez! the "thump" sound it emits = mendez's bass tone/sound =D

They are not missing.

They are there, but since there is no video of the keyboards, I didn't want to have it very loud in the mix.

Even if you don't recognice them, they are then and fill up the mix a lot in the chorus.

I'm agree with cyberoach, If he posted this, I guess it is to get feedback and to learn about. Well, I'm not a musician but a big fan of Opeth, and yes, you did a good job, the screen split is an excellent idea... But... There's something wrong with the guitar. You may change a few notes to add your signature, but there's still something out of shape with distorsion. It may be the recording, or the amp, but there's something. Hope all this may be useful. first of all, you deserve a LOT of respect for all the effort.

but the thing I dont get is - why going through that much trouble to record a cover, and not make it well enough?

the drums are okay, the bass is the best i think, the acoustic is boring, and the electric is WAY out of tune AND played on the wrong pickup mode! besides, it's a strat... but we're not gonna get into that :)

in short - you've made a lot of effort but the result isnt very good imo.
