  • I would do bad things to you...just saying..

  • @dontyoujustluhhmeh27 anyone can look good with dreads. it's a matter of opinion. dreads aren't just for colored people, they just form easier in their hair because of the natural texture of it. dreads are for anyone.

  • @dontyoujustluhhmeh27 Racist much?

  • @dontyoujustluhhmeh27 who made you the dread judge? your such a cunt if you dont like white ppl with dreads dont watch go be ignorant elsewhere

  • if ur not sure try synthetic dreads first it is wot i am doin and i love them and my mum has even said she wants me to put one in her hair and if you dont like them they come out easy so try them out first x

  • i thought it was going to take ages to get my hair dreaded and it would cost me loads, but you have given me faith that it's gonna cost me literally nothing to do them at i'm willing to maintain them to make them look good :3 thank you!

  • I have something from Schwartzkopf at home, and if lock pepper is anything like this (it kind of makes the hair "dry" and easier to tease or what ever you want to call it, or to work with when your styling it in general which can be a problem whit smooth hair). I THINK potato flour would do the trick as well. Anyone tried this? It also works as a dry shampoo anyway! ;)

  • i like your termanology just fuck it and go through with that's how it's done

  • I've never seen dreads as pretty as yours :D

  • Im thinking about getting dreads, I dont really give a shit what people will think of me I just worry about them looking cheesey of being to short.

  • @Fruppelkungen same here getting them this summer i don't fucking care what people think no one should it's your fucking hair not theirs

  • i just love the music in the background

  • U just wash it like normal hair ? and How many times a week?

  • @lauralalokaful I wash mine maybe 2x per week, using dr bronner's soap. Then about once a month I do a "deep cleanse" with baking soda and vinegar. This goes down to the scalp and cleans it well. And yeah, when you shampoo with the soap you just lather up and wash like normal hair.

  • i want dreadlocks, but i can't grow my hair out long enough...

  • @eriklares90 you can get extensions :)

  • @saralovesml maybe, i'd rather just get a job that lets me grow my hair out.

  • its been 2 years i wonder what your dreads look like now =]

  • you are cute :)

  • i want dreadlocks so bad!!!!

  • How many dreads do you have? I know you've mentioned on a different video, but I cannot find it!

  • My hair is dreading by itself anyways so I'm just dreading the part that is getting all yucky. I have an undercut right above it so it should look good.

  • can't. stop. looking. at. you. o.o you're beautiful!

  • Hey :)

I just started with my dreads. They are 3 days old.

I wished the time would fly by! Well won't happen so I need a lot of patience.

    Btw your dreads are awesome!!!

  • Yes sexy too! Lol! Really they are!

  • I love your dreads! You are adorable. You make me laugh too. Love your videos.

  • Has anyone every told you how beautiful you are? Or how sexy your dreads are? :)

  • I absolutely love your dreads. I'm not sure how may dreads I want but I really like the way you have yours put together :)

  • Your accent is hot

  • fag

  • The Skints playing in the background! I love your hair by the way. :)

  • the way you talk is awesome

  • Out here in Ja most people just rope twist their hair n leave it alone until it gets lock like.

  • My favorite part of the video:

    when you said "Haberdashery", lol

  • Can I ask what kind of job you've got/considering in the future? Just curious, cos i'm considering them myself :)

  • Comment removed

  • I love all beautiful women equally but something about white women with locks are beautiful.(If done correctly).

Especially red hair.(And I'm a black guy with locks! lmao)

  • You're cute and i love your accent :)

  • doesnt it kill your hair

  • does your hair still grow?!?!?!

  • you're very cute. they look great!

  • I'm completely with you on the part about people being prejudiced against dreadlocks I recently tried getting a job at a kolache shop and I was immediately bombarded with looks that told me to go to hell Fight the power and let's stop prejudiced against outwardly appearances

  • its not right for you

  • i want to do the bottom half of my hair, but how do i deal with washing, sleeping, making sure they stay neat and everything??? help! i've attempted them twice and they just get too messy and irritating then i take them out. help!!!!

  • can you swim or go to the beach in dreads?

  • love your videos! you rock the dreads and look gorgeous

  • I just wanna know if I can wash it. I'm gonna get one dread in a couple of days and I wanna wash the rest of my hair after but I don't know if I should cover the dread up? orrr? I guess I just wanna know how to clean them?

  • @XADEES just try tying it up it a little bun, or like put it in a little plastic bag when you shower.. just cause your not going to want to wash it at often as you will your normal hair .

  • my boyfriend is inlove with dreadlocks . he would have the biggest crush on you , but i cant bring my self to get them, my mum would never let me x

  • hahahahaahaha 2:04 this girls too funny

  • You're so adorable :P

  • You're beautiful...I'm getting dread extensions Yay :)

  • you've inspired me to FINALLY start dreadinnng! yay! probably will make a channel dedicated to dreads (:

  • do you still wash your hair?

  • You're so funny! haha i love your dreads!

  • Your method works very well, thanks!

  • What about for really curly hair? My hair is rather curly and long.. wont that make the dreads funky and wavy?

  • @onequirkycookie93 i have curly hair as well, afro american picture like the singer Amel larriuex hair type while wavy just to give you a visual, and i dont think it effects it, but if u have frizzy hair like mines you'll have to keep applying your regime grrrr :*. i have one lock by the way, i had one then took it out because i wasnt taking care of it, now starting it over. hope this helps

  • <3

  • Marry me please?

  • what if you want to take them out eventually?

  • what store did she say i can buy them crochet hook in? ? (please someone answer mee) :3

  • @blableblubla1 - Fred Meyers, Target, any craft store.. the internet. Good Luck =)

  • @blableblubla1 -Where do You live? I guess that would depend on where you can get one. Any major chain store should have them. Any craft store will have them

  • How did u do your dreads, did u do the neglect method or did u do the twist and rip or something?

  • It's funny how you refer to each dread, like they're individuals. My friend does that, too xD

  • Wait so your only 12?? Cuz you said you did your first one when you were 10 and you've had it for 2 years?

  • @finberrysauce

No, no, she said she was in year 9 or 10 when she made her first one so she would have been 14 or 15 and then she locked up all her hair by the time she was 16.

  • @finberrysauce year 9 or year 10. as in school not age.

  • hahahahahaha again how stupid is it to go through all this trouble to get a fashion statement on lockdown....people don't care about what you do except when ypu are trying to make a statement with it and make 65 youtube video's to explain why you did it....why not be real and say its because you love the rasta niche. Of course your not alone just take a good look at the British music culture and how they embraced the west indies culture.

  • after watching your videos, i put one little dread lock in my hair. i'm considering doing my whole head!

  • @whyyousocool DO IT!

  • 4:16 this smalll one or this bad boy 0_0 lol

  • You look so familiar..

  • If I just want to do one dread, where is the best place to do it?

  • @brittneehibbitts at the very bottom maybe ? :3

  • @brittneehibbitts I've got one and it's right behind my ear. But I say do the place you brush the least, otherwise there will be lots of pain involved!

  • @brittneehibbitts The hair underneath in the back of your head is the easiest to dread. It stays round without much work and dreads quickly. The biggest drawback to having one dread is that it often pulls other hairs into it so you'll have to be vigilant about seperating it. Brushing around it can be quite bothersome as well.

  • @brittneehibbitts i did mines behind my ear :), it shall trail down below my earlobe

  • @brittneehibbitts thats gonna be a pain in the ass to wash if you just do one. They end up growing mold.

  • @SuperJellybeanzz mold???and where did you learn this?? and how long before they mold up...So far mine 12yrs old..never molded up...Have you ever had dreads?? I don't think so...If you have and the went moldy..that is because you didn't take care of them....

  • @fezfraggle exactly. I don't know what your point is.

  • @brittneehibbitts i did mine on my bottom layer of hair, cause i tried one in the middle/top part, and it like, looked odd, so the bottom layer is good, (: but also, its your personal opinion too

  • @brittneehibbitts

Wherever you are. Do it yourself, mug.

  • @brittneehibbitts In the back of your head, I think that's the best place. I had one there too. You can make even 2 or 3, and then you can hide them with the rest of your hair when you go to school/work/your gandma's house.

  • how long did i take for your dreads to look so nice? ;D

  • Hey well im 12 and i want dreds i love ur dreds!!!!

  • Wish i had girls like you at my school hahhh

  • you are 12????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!

  • @B1LLyPpPp She goes to university haha

  • i want dreads but my friend says they wouldn't suit me :( does anyone know how i can find out if they would or not????? :)

  • @LittleOtterMusic I'd say do a two strand twists all over your head, thats the technique i started mines off with, you can tell if you'll like it or not. Either way follow ur heart :)

  • @gabrielekhavirel Thankss :) i might try that

  • dread my hair plz??

  • love the random wiener dog moment at 6:54 lol

  • marry me

  • your dreads dont look like crap, there totally awsome! peace...

  • i think she is vary pretty!

  • i just have one, and i used to have them at the ends of my black and blond hair, then i cut it, but still i have one right now, and it have one bead to keep it together at the end, and also has a green skull hanging from it, so thank you for ALL of your vids ^_^ im excited to get mine done! <3

  • lmao. 'im just gonna do it all, fuck it' my hair isn't long enough for dreads :/ my parents never let me so when my hair grows back out coz i did shave for a cure. i might start off slowly when it does grow longer? or just to ease my rents i will make fake ones, coz you can have any colour :D

  • @missglamfairy hey guess what?stfu -.-

  • .well ok so im 13 and im like not quite sure if i really actually want these. like i think these r so freekin awesome and i see ppl with them all the time. but i go to a private school and i guess judgement is gonna go on. and im a people pleaser and i dont like ppl to think oddly of me... so did you have probs about ppl judgein you?

  • i love you

  • Those who doesn't like this, I bet they're bald. ):

  • When did you get your dreads?

  • Too bad you don't have them no moreess. I don't understand why black people bugged you & said they arent real dreads since it wasn't fully your real hair.. they use fake hair too, such as weaves & wigs. Thats hypocritical.

  • What if I have really thick hair? Will it lock up quickly?

  • does it make your head itchy. i have alot of friends that have them and i see them itching there head and i want to ask them but i dont want to be rude lol so does it. if it does im sure its not cuz your hairs dirty. bcuz i know thet you need to wash dreads but anyways does it?

  • @2005Goober Yes dreads make your head HELLA itchy, not because its dirty lol. Its becsuse you go from washing your hair everyday with rich shampoos and conditioners, when you get dreads you dont use those anymore and you use shampoos that strip your hair and make it hell dry, so your scalp it kinds like WTF and its not getting any conditioning agent except for the oil your head secrets which isnt much for most ppl and that gets striped away with your anti residue shampoo - just dry scalp

  • love the hair....

  • looks crap!!!!!! style over substance!!! read more history dear!!!

  • your cool, girl!! xD

  • Love your video's Harriet! <3

  • whats your race? are you half black and half white? you look like you have some mixed features

  • too bad you didn't keep them but I understand and admire your choice.

I think about removing my dreads but I've been hesitant for 7years !...

  • i have 2 questions actually. first: do you ever regret your dreds? like do they annoy you a lot? because i'm considering getting them since you really inspired me:)

second: i have very straight, long hair...will that work well with dreds?

  • is that ur natural hair length ? i love ur dreads and i cant wait to get mine thanku for the info its helped me loads ;)

  • WTF?

  • @AfricanPrincess999 I've seen you write on so many other videos are you just finding people with a different ethnicity than you and saying that there dread locks are wrong? Nothing is wrong here or on anybody. It is just wrong to you. In your head. you need to realize that. It is okay for anyone to have anything. Nothing is right or wrong. right and wrong is in your head girl. I know I am kind of contradicting myself but just throwing it out there.. try breakin some barriers.. love everyone

  • @Ivyhoophoop I had dreads and i was unemployed from a decent job for two years. So shut up with your fucking whinging and moaning and fucking preaching bullshit, love. Its a big decision if you want to lead a life in a normal job. Case closed.

  • strange way. make a dread a month. Not saying that doing it all is universial or the wrong way. But stretching over years says alot of poor commitment.

  • I've begun my journey watching your video. Thank you for the inspiration.

  • whats the song at around 2:00 called?

  • i love your accent as well as your dreads. Ive recently considered getting them, and i AM thinking HARD about how it will effect my life. anddd, yeah. uhm, my grandma (lol yes my grandma) has dreadlocks and ive randomly thought about getting them many times throughout my youth. uhm i MIGHT wait you know, a couple years. maybe til i'm out of school. haha :) but, hell i love them. i think they look fantastic :D thankyou for all the videos! i will deff use them when i begin my dread journey.

  • You're right. I hate that there's still the prejudice about dreadlocks... We need to get rid of these taboos!

Where is the video about extensions you're talking about?

  • Comment removed

  • hello !!!

  • I like your dreads. you did a nice job for not sectioning. i prefer them that way anyways lol.

  • why were there no girls like u when i went to school? most looked like vicky pollard and had less brains....

  • @sundayuneedlove probably cause you live in america

  • what did your friends/people in your school say? I know it doesn't matter but im curious :3

  • How do you wash them and how long do they take to dry?

  • ahh i have two dreads and considering going all the way. i've been wanting them since middle school but i get so many compliments on my hair as it is- so i cant make up my mind!

  • Dreadspiration <3

  • i got this :) i just gotta wear a hat all summer and then by the time school starts next year i'll have them

  • whats the song at 5.00 :) ?

  • WHY YES WINSTON I SURE AM CONSIDERING DREADLOCKS I DO DECLARE

  • what are the rubber bands on the dreads for?

  • Thanx for the great vid... I had dreds before but I cut them out cuz I used wax to get them locked up and it was a year later and there was a lot of wax still in them. My hair is quite curly and I just tried that twist and rip method and I have my 1st dred! :) My hair is only a few inches long tho so I think I might wait a few more months before I go 100% on them. Anyways thanx again for the great vid, much appreciated. Peace n Love. Carlos.

  • fuck it! haha your gawjus <3

  • ejj, im thinking about getting dreadlocks, but im wondering..

how much will be hair decrease ? cuz when i want dreadlocks i want to be long .. like over my shoulders (or more)

also, not sure about this, but what if i want to have my hairs dyed can i do this when i have dreads? or is it a good idea to do it before getting dreads?

already tnx for the response :) greetingzz

  • @HAILPeterTagtgren It dpends on the method you use to get dreadlocks really. You dye your hair when you have dreads as long as you soak the dye into them, that should be fine.

  • You're cute, but......

NONE of what you describe is remotely necessary, you'd have WAY more awesome locks by the time of this video if you'd just not touched your hair for those two years.....

  • 2 people turned out to be her parents

  • May I Kindly Say I Love You :)

  • you. are. so. effing. awsome :D

  • can you dye your hair if you have dreads?

  • ur damn cute girll!!! marry me! ;)

  • I've been growing my hair for around 2 years now. I'm aware about the long term such as how my employer would review my appearance but i'm sure being the type of guy I am that I wont progress into a career which my hair style would cause heads to turn. I finish Highschool in a month or two and i'd very much appreciate if you could message me, I dont want to make a mistake since most people I know dont like the idea :/ Thanks a bunch X

  • will you marry me? you can be my youtube wife ;) hahaha

  • You should totally marry me! your gorgeous and so cute! i have 2 dreads right now im thinking about doing my whole head but im not sure yet.

  • I hear the skints in the background <3 I really want dreads but I have a pretty strict school so I dunno if I should. I love your hair

  • Comment removed

  • thanks for posting these vids, you're really cool :) first off, your locks are so beautiful! how long had you had them when you filmed this? I just started mine about three weeks ago, super excited about the journey. I did the backcomb/palmroll method with a little bit of knotty boy wax (I use a bit of their tightening gel too, just because it smells delicious). my roots don't seem to be problem (yet, knock on wood) but my ends tend to fall apart. whats the best way to deal with that?

  • actualy my mom sed that they would look nice on me

when i sed i would want dreads but no i am waiting that my hair goes little bit longer

    thanks for the vids hun

    peace and love

  • @supscreem i mean now not no lol

  • your truly angelic :) lol

  • can you do a playlist of your music? plss xxx

  • Great video, and i love your dreads!

i just started dreading my own hair and so far i have 5 done and i've been backcombing and then using a crochet needle to tighten them but it seems like they are just extremely messy and fray out with loose hairs everywhere no matter how much i tighten it. i think i just need a smaller hook? what do you think?

    thanks,

    btw you are very pretty!

  • wow you seem like a wonderful person ! really stunning aura :D

  • What do you do with the hair you have pinned back that aren't dreads? Like, what do they look like when down?

  • i want dreads for quit some time now

but i just cant really convince myself to put them

how did you like "convince" yourself that you ll get them?

  • wait....your only 12?

  • @idreamofDUB shes like 20 something

  • You're really cool. I want a friend like you.

  • your adorable

  • shampooo
