@tomy101ish I know you posted that comment a long time ago, but the skunk could be trying to conserve musk, or it could be out. A skunk's scent glands hold only about half a fluid ounce of musk, which is good for only 5 or 6 uses. Once it's all gone, it can take up to 10 days to refill.

I have the same tribe plus a possum in my yard. They are wonderful natural pest controls, as they eat bugs, larvae, roaches, etc. Try putting out 2 separate bowls of food, one for each group, and stagger the timing a bit. So one group can eat, then leave, and the next group can come :)
