  • I think I'm watching mike fox in family ties.,

Jason Bateman looks really similar with him, who played Alex in family ties.

I just surprised at the fact that Jason Bateman was 15 when this episode first aired.

  • Wow that chick is such a dumbass! She really thinks THAT guy is a FOX?!?

  • i did not see river phoenix...(?)

  • i was seven when i fist saw this short lived show.waysssssssss

  • this show is really good why did those idiots cancel it after only 18 episodes

  • I LOVE this show!!!!

  • "....pretty slimy, norman"

    that was SO michael bluth.

  • sweet ed sullivan gag at the end. this show was too good for the masses.

    fools...

  • matthew: "no offense, you understand." norman: "none taken." matthew: "that's too bad." love it!

  • thanks for posting. i remember watching this when it originally aired, and thought it was really funny. i always wondered why it was cancelled so quickly. it makes sense to me now of course, because it was a little edgy in that it was about two schemers trying to out scheme each other. fragile minds of commercial television viewers can't handle such things.

  • I will always remember the mom as the hot older chick in the movie "My tutor". haha.

  • This was one of my favorite shows during the 80's that canceled too soon along with Roomies, Square Pegs, You Again, and Double Trouble.

  • Jason Bateman was at the top of his game on this and the first season of Silver Spoons. This was one of the greatest written comedies of all time!!!

  • Jason Bateman should've been casted as Peter "Spidey" Parker in Spider-Man, not Tobey Maguire.

  • Yes Yes Yes..hahahaha...Man this is bringing back the memories...

  • Jason Bateman was unreal in this show. Pretty good writing too.

  • This show is GREAT to watch when your drunk! Well done, uwec, well done!

  • hahaha jason bateman has all the same comedic mannerisms as this kid as he did as Michael Bluth on Arrested Development, it's incredible!

  • What was the Billy Joel/Ed Sullivan joke about?

  • Ed Sullivan who was an immensely popular variety show host back in the 60's was played by an impersonator for the retro Billy Joel video "Tell Her About It" in the early 80's. The joke was simply that a teenage girl knew of Ed Sullivan only because of a music video.

  • Ah, I loved this show! Jason Bateman is so talented. I remember him on Silver Spoons (in fact, he was the only reason I watched Silver Spoons), but I really enjoyed this show. The best part was the relationship between Matthew and Norman and their ongoing game of one-upmanship. Thanks for uploading this!

  • Bateman must've been born with comic timing. Looks like Michael Bluth as a child!

  • jason bateman is so cute and a great actor
