The pilot and the first season were so perfectly done, I can't believe that the show went so terrible in the later seasons. I honestly love Josh Schwartz but I think he came up with the pilot and then had no plan at all for what was supposed to happen later on, so every episode was just him making stuff up to try to fill time from then on.

I have to say that I loved the OC with Marissa.

Ryan-Marissa's lovestory was such a mess, it was terribly romantically tragic :) (don't if anyone can understand what I just wrote )....

But I also liked season 4, because I think after Marissa died, Ryan changed, He didn't wanna live another wretched lovestory .... and I think Taylor even though she's crazy was what he needed ....

It's just me saying :)

@saab101 lol, I forgot I even commented on this video. That was two years ago. But anyway, I get what you mean, but I think it depends on how soft the skin on your hands is. My knuckles actually have bled pretty freely in the past. Maybe living in Newport softened Ryan's knuckles. ;) Either way, it's one of my favorite scenes on the show and I really relate and Ben McKenzie was my favorite actor on the show. :D Good talking to you! <3

Realistically the kid is not a trained fighter so why would he have been expected to punch the bag like a professional????!!! Geez people... get real! Either way, I'm trained in martial arts and I don't think he did too shabby of a job punching the bag... it was very realistic for who Ryan is and what the circumstances. Great acting by Ben McKenzie if you'd ask me.
