No reason why there couldn't have been molten metal. It is unlikely that jet fuel could have ignites steel but aluminiun can burn and it gets very hot when it does.

The buildings weighed perhaps 300,000 tons each and were about 1000ft tall, thus they had enormous potential energy that was turned into heat as they collapsed, that is why you could see flames squirting out, the heating effect is not too different from solid antitank rounds.

molten metal does not equal molten steel. In the case of a building with an aluminum facade facing temperatures that were hot enough to melt aluminum, but not steel, I would be willing to bet someone would find molten aluminum afterward.

No reason why there couldn't have been molten metal. It is unlikely that jet fuel could have ignites steel but aluminiun can burn and it gets very hot when it does.
But there is another, very big, source of heat. The buildings weighed perhaps 300,000 tons each and were about 1000ft tall, thus they had enormous potential energy that was turned into heat as they collapsed, that is why you could see flames squirting out, the heating effect is not too different from solid antitank rounds.

the maker of this video is purely mistaken, the man described the metal as red hot and about 1500 degrees, not hot enough to melt steel, but hot enough to melt aluminum. Which begins to glow around 1100 degrees, which was kept melted by the fires which remained for weeks after 9/11, no steel melted on 9/11. No thermite was used, if thermite was used the steel would widely disperse and solidify within seconds. It doesn't leave pools of steel for weeks. Truthers need to do some real research.

Freedomlover, you need to look into the exothermic reactions of iron and steam. Might do you good. Since there is absolutely no proof whatsoever of thermite, sol-gel nanothermite or anyother exothermic causing agent was ever present at WTC it stands to reason that the exothermic reaction which took place was actually between iron and steam. This reaction takes place at around 400 degrees.

Termite dissipates right away and doesnt leave molten steel for three weeks. The glowing metals were aluminum especially since the building and the plane debris had plenty of aluminum. Second of all aluminum glows orange at about 800-1000 degrees. If they were molten the tractor could not be grabbing them without the metal pouring out.

The fire fighters couldn't work in some areas do to the extreme heat. Their boots were melting. They must have used thermite in the destruction of these buildings. To rest the case: There wasn´t any source naming the composition of these metal pools. So, let´s go with Occam´s Razor:
Explanation 1: It´s the abundant aluminium that was molten by the temperatures reached by the office fires.
Explanation 2: It´s molten steel/iron created by a reaction of thermite that magically left no traces of it´s major byproducts.
I´d say explanation 2 gets sliced and diced by the Razor.

The outer wall which broke away from the rest of the building did collapse in about 10 seconds. The REST of the collapse took a total of 15 seconds.

If you use the timer function on the video you can clearly see that after 10 seconds of collapse, the south tower is still standing as high as the marriot. I guess that is something you have missed. 30 floors off the ground. Go figure.

The rest of the collapse progressed much slower. Which is why the first panels struck the ground, but in the video you can see that there are still about 30+ floors still standing after 10 seconds.Why would that happen? Cuz they broke off, not part of collapse. Not CD. FAIL. YOu are the one who won't time it. keep trying.

You sent me a quote that says the outer panels of wtc 1 struck the ground afte 10 seconds. The FULL COLLAPSE (can you read?) took about 15 seconds. At 10 seconds the WTC is still standing above 30 floors as demonstrated by being standing above the marriot hotel. But I guess that is too tough for you.

Because thermate burns at higher temperatures than ordinary thermite[citation needed], it has useful military applications in cutting through tank armor or other hardened military vehicles or bunkers. Yeah, as I recall Steven Jones found sulfer traces in the samples he was able to collect as well indicating that it could be a type of thermate. Either way there was definately and incendiary compound used.

nice that he collected samples that show sulfur... how about the sulfur in the drywall/gypsum (misspelling my bad) that made up the interior walls... which is over 50% sulfur... where is the aluminium oxide and the barium nitrate residue which is a UNIQUE signature of thermate?

What is the point of this video? The one it's supposedly "responding" to -- the "9/11 debunked: no pools of molten steel", explains everything this video shows.

I don't get why the words molten metals are in the title of this clip. At the end he explains that the pieces being lifted out are red hot. Well if they are being lifted, they are a solid, and if they are a solid, then they are NOT molten. I don't get it what this clip is trying to prove? Really it just disproves the whole molten metal theory

The metal at the surface is already hotter than the building fires could have produced, note the guy supervising states that they had shut off the water so you could see what they were encountering, this piece of metal has already been cooled 9but from how high a temperature?). There is more video evidence on the existence of molten metal from rescue workers on the site.
