I am shocked to find out they are illegal. Thankfully I don't live in california. IMO they are probably the best family pet there is. Anyone that has ever had a ferret should know exactly why I feel that way.

Ferrets are also illegal in Portugal. there is some contraversy with European Union law, since you can't take even sterilized ferret with you on vaccation etc.

I agree they should be legal, but this video would have been better without the typos! The word is "spayed" not "sprayed"! :) If you want to be taken seriously, you need to pay attention to the spelling or people will reject your message without even thinking about it.

I agree, and thanks for the apology. I don't mean to insult anyone, but I do think that people in general aren't careful enough with spelling and grammar and that negatively impacts the very good message. If ferret owners are ever to be taken seriously and not considered "fringe" we have to come across as not only vehement in our love of ferrets, but as intelligent human beings with a valid message.

The more rational and intelligent we look, the more stupid CA F&G looks.
