The strings here don't sound too good to me, I'd just buy a standard orchestral plugin like "Miroslav Philharmonik", you get better strings and a the whole rest of the orchestra sounds on top for a similar price point & of course if you got a little extra cash and want REALLY nice strings then it's "EastWest Symphonic Orchestra" all the way...
@spector969 I agree, I prefer their 70 dollar "symphonic strings" to this by a large shot. It was a cool idea, but...plenty of better options out there. It's cool for what it is, but definitely not the only option.

@famousguyable hey man.... i have Sonivox playa... and compared to my other vsts.... the sounds in playa are pretty terrible and the interface isnt that great... beathang and sonivox both are relatively new programs and i think they have potential to be pretty good vsts... if your looking for a cheap deal look into native instruments elements package... you get a little bit of everything and you can always add sounds... they have a lot of good synths and real sounding instruments
hey i have a question for u i was watching at the end of this video u said (there something i want to show u) u click onto ( load layout) than u click onto( playa string layas) than u click onto ( chords progressions) than u click onto (CP2 C) than u click onto ( pad mode) the funny thing is when i click onto ( pad mode) than i play from my midi keyboard and there is NO sound coming out? but if i click onto those PAD with those number from 1 to 16 than i hear sound why ?

hey people i am thinking about getting this program. this is my very first time for this kind of stuff. i got a magazine telling me that u can use any midi controller for this program. my thing is once u install this to your compture how do u use the midi controller to play to get the sound where do u plug in your midi to? i just buy a unit that have sound and plug to my keyboard but how do u plug the midi into a compture?
@CTROCK depends on what type of controller you have, if it's usb just plug it in, if it's midi only, you'll need to get a mid interface to plug it into

@CTROCK either one of them will work with any software you install on your computer, just make sure you have a host/daw to run the string software in so you can actually do more than just play the sounds. You need a host/daw so you can record sequences and stuff.

@CTROCK this software is just an instrument, you need a host that you can open it in if you want to actually make music with it, it can't record itself you need something to record it in. Something like flstudio, reaper, logic, ableton live, cubase, sonar, traktion, etc. Those midi controllers will work fine they are a well known brand. But you can't just buy this string software and make music, you need something to use it in.

@CTROCK you won't just be able to buy a program and have it sound like Dr. Dre lol, there's a lot more that goes into his sound that just the instrument. Not sure what song you're speaking of, it's possible he used real strings or a different string library, hard to know for sure. Plust he has other gear to tweak and alter the sound.

@CTROCK like I said, you will not be able to just buy an instrument or software and make it sound like Dre, he does tons of processing and mixing to get his sound, but I'm sure you can do something similar...just don't expect it to sound exactly like his...that takes more than just an instrument.

thanks fam! Well, like I said, they actually make a $3k orchestra library, so their stuff is good, but realize that it's not a full orchestra here, it's just the strings. They are good man...other plugins you may look at for full strings are something like miroslav from IK, garritan personal orchestra, and if you have kontakt look at kirkhunter emerald.
but for just some dope strings, this is definitely a good deal

@13matik no, Reason can't use vsts or any type of plugins, you cannot open this program inside of Reason at all.
