Marvel is coming out with an Avenger movie in 2011 and this was correcting the mistake of the last Hulk movie as well as helping set up the Avengers movie (hence the Tony Stark appearance at the end). They did that with the Iron Man movie as well. If you missed it, after ALL the credits in Iron Man, Samuel L. Jackson does a cameo as Col. Nick Fury. Iron Man II is slated for 2010, Captain America and Avengers for 2011. Great review, by the way.

why go along with the masses and demand that EVERY superhero movie needs to have THINGS THAT EXPLODE for it to be a superior movie experience. This film lacked any form of storyline, drama or characterisation and Ed Norton seems only to have the ability to play himself these days. Most people didnt like ang lees version because it required for you to THINK. It was an ORIGINAL and different approach. NOT THIS MOVIE. You normally hit the mark dude. but with this one I THINK you missed it big time.

Even though I don't fully agree with everything you say and I did like this movie, I do see where you're coming from. This movie, to me, was just dumb fun. Plus, I'm not even a huge fan of the Hulk their is not much to his character. It kind of saddens me that a movie with tons of violence and explosions like this movie will do better at the box office then a fun and innovative movie like Speed Racer.

ovo1977- the more intelligent approach was already taken for this film and the audience already reacted. They cut the movie to make it a good action movie leaving the deeper side of Banner for the DVD. Not every movie has to have a deep existential journey into the soul of a hero, sometimes you just want ass kickery and the incredible hulk delivers that well and doesn't treat the audience stupid in doing so.

I just saw this movie. I thought it blew the first one outta the way. But I still think the 1st was ok. The CGI was almost as good as Transfomers 2007. Get ready for the dvd it has 70 minute of footage editted out including something that ha to do with Capt America (the footage of Banner walking in the snow). Who is Mr Blue? Is he suppossed to be the Leader? I noticed his head getting bigger after being knocked out and Banners blood leaking on him.

hfl2005- 70 minutes of additional footage is INSANE. that is a completely different movie and I might have to re- review it. It reminds me of DareDevils Directors Cut which in my opinion was far better than the theatrical cut.

I get my info from Darkhorizons dt cm and I didnt find it surprising at all considering the behind the scene squabbling between the the director and Ed Norton. Remember Highlander 2? They didnt have 70 minutes but they did have enough extra footage to completely change the premise of the movie. Scary movie 3 as well. The Hulk trailers had him walking through snow. That is supposed to be Banner in the arctic and it has to do with Capt America and the Avengers tie ins. Cant wait for the dvd.

I loved this movie. everything just seem done right to me. Now, when Mr. Blue first began talking, I was so so conserned he would be too silly and just ruin the movie, thankfully, he did not. But they kept it under bay. He actually played his character like the animated version if you ever get a chance to see the animated hulk cartoon. Did you notice the seen where Doc Samson is talking to Bruce in the trailer was completely removed?
