You can say what you want about "Goku was an alien race"....its anime and you know DAMN WELL he was fashioned after asian people...as well as damn near all anime...so stop tryin to get technical. They shoulda just left it as an anime....but since they tried to go live action with it it SHOULD have been an asian guy. the thing is...the argument for Goku to be Asian is null and void. He was a Sayian (aka an alien race) NOT an asian. It doesn't even definitively say where they're from or anything pertaining to location in the series (besides the writing on buildings which was for purposes pertaining to their first audience which was an asian market).

I've been looking forward to this movie for a long time. Being a big DBZ fan the previews have left me disappointed. I don't mean to judge a book by its cover but this doesn't seem close to the db storyline at all. Goku's too old in this movie and Bulma fighting? Oh well I hope it turns out to be better than I think. Regardless I will still watch it on opening weekend with my son.

i just watched this movie and i know it will not match with wolverine or transformers but for a start it has some interesting action stunts too. And for a dbz fan, they will rate it C or D but for those who don't care, just watch it. Justin chatwin really looks like Goku and his portrayal as the young Goku fits him well, i think if ever they should make a sequel and i hope they will, just change the director.
