@telescopebuilder Think you've missed the point there...It's not so much about using the cheapest equpiment, however much Gameboys and C=64 have gone down in price since their entry to the market, it's about squeezing awesome sounds out of something in a way that differs to what it was generally designed for. Not to mention the fact Sr Sano would have probably been given the DS for free, working on the software he wrote. DS-10+ with Distortion pedal and dj mixer is all I use to make music ^__^

The difference between having Four copies running and only one is with four (Or up to 8) DS is they all link together and can run simultaneously. So instead of being stuck with the two synths only per DS, You're suddenly upped to 8 or in the case of 8 DSes, 16 synths. In a pinch the Drum lines left over could also become more note patterns if you edit your drums. Either case, Unless you're a big fan of synths, In particular the old Korg MS-10, Don't go buying this thinking it's easy. XD

That mixer is a KORG Zero8 and costs around

£1000 then 4 ds's and then 4 copies of the game. One DS-10 is good enough for this sort of work.

I think, it isn't very easy to handle two DS's at the same time. You have to use the touchpads very accurately.

Yes, it will work just fine. All regular DS games will also work with a DS Lite.

dsi has extra features like built in cameras, and web browsing. plus it has a bigger screen. however, the ds lite has an extremely nice glossy finish, which i prefer. the dsi has a finish that feels like rough plastic... people really obsess over portable devices these days, like phones and ipods. look and feel is important. also, the ds lite has a longer battery life than the dsi. i prefer to keep my ds lite, personally.
