Well, I am not too sure. About the midi screen, it actually uses the same screen as Reason does. Have you "blown it up" or made it larger by using the magnifying glass? I love the midi sequencer found within Reason. Something does not sound right! Let me know about what is going on. Steve@itmaine.com
Nice video! Do you know if you can can export all your audio tracks in one batch to continue mastering in a other software like cubase for example? thx
@mproductionsmusik , You can save files like you asked, but I am not too sure about the DAW that is Cubase. Record will run with DAW's like "with in" pro tools, or it will run all by itself. Check to see if it will run in Cubase, if not, check the file types that Cubase will open.
@kernman2 i mean to save all track separately into wav in one click...
Also, iam wondering if record sequencer have better view than reason alone (for the midi) cause reason alone dont have a really clear view when mixing...
Hi, nice vid. It was informative as i'm new to this and was looking into buying record.
One thing i want to know but can't seem to find out about record is, can you import long wav or mp3 files, not as samples but actual lead lines? how do you do that if u can??
Yes! As long as it is a "I/O" interface, or it handles the analog to digital duties. Any audio can be placed/recorded into record! This product marries reason with audio! Endless possibilities......
Amen to that! used PT since 1999 but, as soon as i used Reason 2.5 I prayed that one day Propellerheads would let us record into Reason. I love Reason and Record! Sure i know that Logic, PT, Sonar, Cubase, etc. have way more features. But thats only for now. I"m sure Record will catch up. You ask why then use Record instead of all those other DAWs? Hands down its the most stable and CPU friendly software i ever worked with. FL studio, Logic, PT, and others glich or freeze after a few vsts.
new propellerhead interface, "Balance" just released!

Yes. If you mean the "Reason" rack. The possibilites are just about endless when it comes to adding effects, and how you can add them.
kernman2 1 year ago
can you use the rack for effects?
