i cant play crysis either, i get around 10 fps with 2 HIS HD4890, witch sux. someone pls help me. i cant get i higher resolution than 1600x900 and have a 24" screen? i max every other game so, whats the problem?
I have the same CF Setup and I have a E8500 but I can only get 20-25 fps on that resolution with no aa. With 1920 x 1080 i only get 15 fps. Is this right?
I'm very happy. Playing Crysis on 1920x1080 all Max with 4xAA with 30-40fps. HOWEVER, when I look on lots of stuff the fps stays about the same but it feels like it drops to 15 or something. So I turned off AA and it is better, but still kind of drops even though the frames are the same as before :S
Whoa, i was waitin' for more than that beacuse of what i've heard, btw 2FPS in CRYSIS means a considerable increase of performance, Crysis is a fuckin' eat fps machine...
hmmm, that's a really nice FPS. It has been a long time since I played this level, but it sure wasn't 50 fps, let alone with 8x AA (I've got an overclocked 4870X2, core i7 @ 4ghz ,12 gigs o' RAM and so on).
that is one powerfull mofo of a pc...what happens when u turn the AA down,is there a huge dif in performance because i know sometimes when u turn AA down on ATI cards theres almost no dif in performance..
I get the exact same performance in Crysis at no AA, 2xAA, and 4xAA, and with multisampling and supersampling at any of these settings. People don't realize that up to 4xAA, supersampling is practically free on the HD 4890. I'm sure when I go Crossfire the story will be the same for 8xAA.
i read your comments on my other video before you deleted it. I dont understand why you cant believe that a $500 graphics card setup cant run crysis at max. just look up any review of the 4890. one can run crysis at max as long as you have a good cpu. 2 can destroy crysis
Its alright dude, i get it all the time....honestly, i have no reason to fake it. The thing is, it was already set to enthusiast and i dident even think to change it again because it was already maxed
so that phenom is equivalent to a q9550? is that what the site is saying?

I guess it's a bug with Windows 7 and Crossfire.
JackeShan 2 years ago
Oh and if I keep the AA on 4xAA (or even 8xAA) and turn the Shaders on High the gameplay is extremely smooth with no weird fps drops.
JackeShan 2 years ago
no its just a crysis being hardware hungry and giving a monsterous load on a hardware. Its normal to have fps drops
NightHawk512 2 years ago
the thing is, the frames don't actually drop, they stay the same but it feels like it is dropping. Some kind of bug.

yeah, 2 hd 4890 rocks!!^^

@enthusiast??
gregor14123 2 years ago
probably around the low to mid 20's in really deep action. but it really depends on your cpu
beefdog88 2 years ago
what would you rekon the pfs with same set up with my c2 extreme 3.8ghz
dubmywub 2 years ago
Crysis is gpu intensive game dunno how much will faster cpu help but i think it will. You will get few fps more i guess.

Btw im an eye candy addict i max everyting it possible to nvidia control panel on max
supersampling,high quality texture filtering,
enchance the application settings 16XAF
4/8XAA @ 1920 x 1200 GTX295 getting
24 to 35 avg fps in game, with real life mod.
the game look avesome to bad at those extreme settings at some parts getting slow.
i might get another GTX295 or wait for GT300

i am now, i wasent in this video it was 9.3
beefdog88 2 years ago
so how's the performance now? I've heard the 9.4 is far the best ATI driver...
sorry the bad English...
MacFlip1 2 years ago
it is better, maybe 2 fps more...not much but its still more

I hope u have only activated 8*AA for the show because 8x is useless for a game as crysis is.

The physx effects in this game are far better than the shitty physx effects in Morrors Edge that supports "on gpu physx acceleration".
How's the new phenom 2 doing?
Do you notice any drop in fps when throwing smashing..... objects?
helldrell666 2 years ago
Naw the phenom2 is chewing crysis up. Any kind of bottleneck would be a video card.
beefdog88 2 years ago
I chose Q9550 over Phenom II 940 which I got at 3.4ghz. Should I have gone AMD?
jaju123456 2 years ago
no, clock for clock the q9550 beats the AMD in most cases from what I've seen.
