We have had the coldest winter in England for 30 years. Antarctica is getting colder. Old books showing temp records are now virtually unavailable in libraries. 2000 yrs ago the Vikings grew crops in Iceland & had large fishing communities in Greenland. The Romans grew lemon trees in southern England & vines as far north as Hadrian s Wall. All at a time when industry as we know it was non-existent.
