Even so, when you're in a position of power, if you can't speak eloquently enough - as you've pointed out he has some trouble doing - it's best to have a prompt. God commanded us to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28). Homosexuality does not promote multiplication and it spreads disease. If you think about marriage it isn't just an institution of love. It's a promise to another person, a commitment. A commitment to raise a family with them. You can't raise your own children with someone of the same sex. You might bring up artificial insemination, but you still aren't raising a child that is from both partners.

Even so, when you're in a position of power, if you can't speak eloquently enough - as you've pointed out he has some trouble doing - it's best to have a prompt. Public speakers who have what they're supposed to say written for them aren't exactly devils and demons, nor do they simply read it without knowing it's content. He would have seen this many times before, I'm sure, and made corrections or whatever as he sees fit, or as he agrees with.

God commanded us to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28). Homosexuality does not promote multiplication and it spreads disease. If you think about marriage it isn't just an institution of love. It's a promise to another person, a commitment. A commitment to raise a family with them. You can't raise your own children with someone of the same sex. You might bring up artificial insemination, but you still aren't raising a child that is from both partners.

So I dont really know what I believe on the matter, but if somebody's happy, then I say let them be happy. Love is love in my opinion, and it always will be.

Im catholic but im being bias by saying that gays should be allowed to marry.
