I love the music and the movie but when I watched RHPS my is big fan and was tell the story to me but I don't know any1 who has seen ST so can some1 explain the story to me cause I love the movie but it's a shame I don't understand the whole concept.

@horseknuckle It's kind of hard to explain but easy to grasp once you understand it. Denton is brainwashed by a 24 hour channel, and the couple is thrust into the middle. Everyone hosting shows are actors. Brad is "committed" because he can't get himself together (a role reversal from RHPS: Janet's wearing the pants), while she's made to be a star via Farley, who has a ulterior motive for trying to wedge the couple while everyone else plays along with the "shows". Think of society and TV today.

Does anyone know what the original script for Shock Treatment was? I've already read Revenge of the Old Queen, but I know this movie's script was totally redone in a limited time, because they wanted to start filming and due to weather they had to film completely in a studio.

Shock Treatment doesn't deserve to be mention in the same sentence as its predecessor. The songs to be fair were fairly good although there were 1 0r 2 stinkers but i just got the feeling it was trying to be weird for the sake of it and was trying to hard to be a kitch and camp as the original. Lousy film and an insult to TRHPS.

In the DVD commentary, Cliff said that Jack Nicholsen was the inspiration for Farley and David Eisenhower was the inspiration for Brad. He pulled both performances off brilliantly here as well as do an excellent patter-song ala Gilbert & Sullivan! No easy feat that!
