@samueljue Because any pair higher than his got him beat, both diamonds and spades flush would beat him if Farha was on a draw, he has a low kicker, Farha can play any Ace-x or any suited cards, so he fears the flushes mostly I guess. Also, 19,5 K is scary! Sammy could be holding a better pair or be on a draw. He also could have a set and so on.. Top pair when it's an 8 with 2 flushes possibilities and bad odds on a big call sounds like a fold to me in most cases.

@MrTheShadarnook well i guess considering it is Sammy and he makes this move a lot without anything at all kinda like what he has here and if he ahd like an ace with a flush draw, even if he makes a pair of aces on the river, Alaei would make a straight so danny gets insurance there. The overbet to me, usually means Sammy is trying to get Danny to fold a pair because he is ona draw. But thats just my read on sammy. :P

I think it's stupid from Farha to run it twice with aces when matusow has 10's.... if he would run it normally he would've won, 10's are a 20-80% underdog to aces...ofcourse matusow could get lucky and hit a 10, but he had 20% to win...if I had aces I would NEVER run it twice against tens....not against any hand actually... if Matusow did catch a 10, oh well shit happens.

This is basically a friendly cash game where the players aren't that concerned to make money. So when the players go all in, they'll freely discuss running the board more than once even if it's a disadvantage to themselves. :)
