  • i would not like to be those aperture blades :D

  • if you have a camera to buy .. send me on PM

  • I have a digicam 30fps

You have a Slow Cam ;)

  • slow... my 1d can beat that... just shitting with ya bro, take it easy...

  • My LONGEST burst for this camera is 5-6 images

    WHY IS THAT:(

  • try turning off high iso noise reduction. i have the xsi and that did the trick for me.

  • oh really? I'll try that later.

    Thanks for the help man

  • sluggish memory card?

  • Not entirely, I did what ldw73085 said(turn of high noise reduction), it worked. I got 50+ fps back again(even at RAW). Meh, I don't really need that kind of burst. 5-6fps will do for me imo.

  • What type of memory card do you have? If you bought a cheapie, there may be some problems with it not being able to keep up.

  • Someone here solved it. I just turned off the noise reduction and boom, I can shoot in BURST like a machine gun. I use a sandisk extreme thing... I read from a book that expensive CF cards doesn't affect cameras like the 40D. The ones that really benefit from the fast cache thing are the pro models.

  • I think it would be a little faster if you'd set the aperture to f/1.4.

  • I don't think so. It should be just as fast with any aperture, while set on manual.

  • It's supposed to be marginally (like, not-humanly-noticeably) faster if the aperture is set to wide open so the camera doesn't have to shrink the aperture before taking the shot.

  • what CF card you used in your 40d?

  • It was a 2GB Sandisk Ultra II

  • Brutal, I need to get a job then Im getting that piece. Im in HS still not to invoke any confusion.

  • Aren't there, like, twenty other videos just like this one?

  • no, this is the only one

  • lol

  • hahha

  • dope.

i think i'm going to get this camera for sequences

    thanks

  • Is that the 50mm f/1.4?

  • Yep

  • Cool. I bought the 50mm f/1.4 for my new Digital Rebel XSi. The lens came, but the camera has arrived yet, lol.

  • It's a good lens, a little slow for sports but takes in light like crazy. A little bit of CA wide open, but that's usually the case for most lenses besides the super telephoto primes.

  • Then don't comment.

  • nice
