  • I concur. I would also conclude that strong parallels of this ep could be drawn to "Squire of Gothos" in that a parent figure had to bail Kirk & crew out because Kirk wasn't equipped to reason with "the child." Younger Me thought Kirk didn't like kids very much so I didn't like him in this ep while Older Me could sympathize with the trouble of dealing with a teenager who could kick you ass by just thinking about it! Great review.
