Simply because their names are not their real names.So he's no danger to them. Plus, at this time, 5 years had passed since the incident on the docks. That was 2003, and this is 2008.

YOU can't deny that Nickey, Frank, and D'angelo were all victims of bad things going on around them. D'Angelo would have done his time, and when it comes to Frank, yes he got killed, but Nicky didn't. Vondas even clearly said "he's no threat to us." in episode 12 of Season 2 I believe. I don't see why you have such hostility towards these characters

I'm saying when Bodie was talking to McNulty, he said specifically that he won't snitch on any of Barksdale's people or anyone on his corner, but Marlo and his kind has to fall. McNulty then says for that to happen someone has to step up, and Bodie just says "I'll do what I gotta. I don't give a fuck. Just don't ask me to live on my fucking knees." I just don't see how that doesn't mean what I think it means.
