  • lol at 3:31

  • Lol, taking your drums out in the middle of nowhere seems to be the cheapest way to get a dry, clean studio sound.

  • Work on your groove dude. Chops don't make music.

  • The snare is a Vintage Wrinkle 14x6.5 Spaun

  • dude, you are fucking tight, i swear to god. reminds me somewhat of chad sexton. i have been playing for 15 years and you make me want to burn my vistalites and gouge my eye holes out with my sticks. dont ever stop playin man, you are doin more with 3 pieces than most of todays jack-offs can do with double basses and a full set.

  • nice hats dude

  • what kind of snare is that and what heads?

    Otherwise he's awesome.

  • SOULTONE!! Good for you man!! Real drummers go for sound not hype

  • floppy and dumb.

  • Very good, nice job.

  • How did you get the sound to come out so good on a camera dude?! What camera is it?

  • does the 2nd porthole effect the sound alot?

  • @ryantksdrums I DON´T RECOMEND YOU TWO PORTHOLES ON YOUR BASS DRUM BRO.

1 IT´S OK. NO PORTHOLES IT´S EVEN BETTER. EXPERIMENT YOURSELF.

  • what snare head is that?

  • @johnnnyhart Remo Coated Controlled Sound

  • nice chops brother! :-) and KILLER sounds!

  • DUDE you're amazing!!!!! I wish i was half as beastly as you are!

  • how do you tune your snare to sound like that?

  • hahaha very funny!

  • Love the groove, the pattern ideas, though the sound could have been a tad better, but for a camera mic, it'll do.

Have you by any chance been inspired by the "kick, snare, hat" DVD? :)

  • Are you kidding me? This is so whack

    Keep practicing tho !!!!!

  • dude! get discovered! :D you got the chops for it bro. crazy good drumming. keep it up!

  • 3:30 Made Rolf, xD Dude You Effing Rock

  • what pedal/ beater do you use and for a bass head? amazing drumming btw , just shows you don't need 90000 toms and cymbals

  • crazy good sound...

  • dude. u are crazy and an inspiration to me.

  • that was totally sick man... blew me away.

just one thing, Soultone??? Really man? You pick them over Zildjian, Sabian, Meinl, Paiste, Bosphorus, and Istanbul Agop??

  • @DrumCoalitionWithWar, Honestly, you have to play them to hear the difference, once you play a Custom brilliant crash form soultone and compare it to a A Custom, you will never look at a A custom the same!

  • @rrm92

i've played them before, my friend Owen has some soultones. Anyway, what kick drum head are you using? I need a good, bouncy responsive kick head for the doubles. Any suggestions?

  • @rrm92 Its all about the K customs. I recommend the K custom Hybrids. I love the sound!

  • @AliagaDavid only if you like jazz..

  • @Mynameismeg No bro, The hybrids are made for versatility. they are not only used for jazz. I was talking about the crashes not the hats. Sorry for the confusion.

  • @rrm92 I actually think the soultone's in this video sound rather nice, although I personally am a Sabian guy.

  • @DrumCoalitionWithWar Haha yeah some obscure brands out there are pretty damn awesome! I use a couple Meinl Byzance Medium Crash Cymbals myself!

  • @DrumCoalitionWithWar soultone = awesome

  • @DrumCoalitionWithWar check out saluda they are just as good or better than zildjian and sabian

  • awesome !!!!

  • nice skill man great kick technique especially

    heel toe?heel up?heel down?

  • @christianconefery hey thanks for the view and comment! i do heel up. that just what my body did naturally so i stuck with. i tried heel toe, but just wasnt for me ahah

  • that snare sounds amazing! really cool technique also bro! that feet close on the hihat was something im gonna learn :D

  • what kinda beater is on ur bass pedal?

  • @forzaitalia5910 DW hardcore beater

  • Cool location. Another dude that can play fast doubles but can't play slower doubles to save his life. What up with that. Dude get away from the pedal slide.

  • @ediot6969 its much esier to play FAST double or fast anything, because its gets all smushed together! but once you slow it down, you have to be so precise and you have to be alot more aware of the spacing between notes. therefor, its harder

    :)

  • dude wat kinda snare is that? it sounds amazing

  • @wcvj91608 thanks, its a Spaun custom Air Vented snare. has 2 air vents on it. 14x6 1/2.... i love it. im using a Evans EC2 Rev on it now, sounds even BETTER!!

  • We all have to get out from playing in our garages at times;) be creative and go play somewhere youve never played at for the over all experience and fun:) thats all i wanted to this vid,,, just to go out and play somewhere crazy

  • Just watched this again. So good. Do you recommend the Soultone Gospel Hats? Im looking to invest in a pair

  • @garycheung92 thanks man! i love these hats, its really fits my style of playing for my latin stuff, high pitch and crisp.... soultone has sooo many great hats tho! i want some 15 gospels! there great

  • you sound nice dude. Im about to do the same @ my school.

  • sweet chop and cool grove man

  • how did you get such great audio?

  • @andydoode its just my internal mic on my camera, and since its outside, you dont get no sounds bouncing off walls so it sounds much cleaner...

  • yeah man !!!!

it is really cool !!! ))

  • serious chops and outstanding speed and a wonderful example that a drummer can cope without a large kit i like the purity when one strips it all down so all thats left is you your 26 rudiment knowledge& independance whiCH LEAVES YOU. It reminds me of the millenium I sat ontop a Hill and soloed my Ludwig 400 into the NEW CENTARY..........."just me & noise" bit like that now for me when I play

  • @kynancecove Wow, thank you for that. comments like that keep me inspired to keep playing even when i feel my vids arent good enough, thank you brother. i really appreciate that, real talk!

  • @rrm92 LOOK if I can make vids with "JUST" ONE ARTHRITIC HAND & ONE ARTHRITIC FOOT THEN YOU CAN i nearly died 2 times and [IF] I CAN KEEP MAKING NOISE SOCAN YOU EMAIL ME BECAUSE I HAVE A NEW TECHNIQUE I AM GOING TO RELEASE SOON I WOULD LOVE YOU TO DO A SINGLE SRK ROLL BETWEEN HAND & 1 FOOT! I AM ON FACEBOOK CHECK ME OUT.. YOU HAVE RAZOR CHOPS BRILLIANT PLS GET DRUMMERS TO CHECK OUT MY 2 PARTVID

  • respect to you for doing this, sounds awesome too!

  • @garycheung92 thank you, i appreciate that alot!

  • dude it was really good

but a point for improvement, i noticed that most of your fills followed the patter hands hands kick kick, or the other way around, you should trying mixing it up a little for examle Hands Hands Kick Hands Kick Kick hands etc.. but very good otherwise

  • @metalgrande95 thanks bro, im always looking for feed back to improve! thanks yo

  • saaa good!

  • awesome!

  • i feel stupid now that i realize you dont need 2 bass drums and 10 toms to make somthing sound awesome.... fuck heavy metal

  • @InsanityType66 lol thank for watching bro! i try and practice like this because it forces you to think creativly because your so limited. but this makes you so much bettter. and then when you get on a terry bozio kit, you can rip it like crazy ahah

  • @rrm92 i acctually find it more amazing people playing on smaller kits with more rhythm cause thats what drums is mainly about . lol i dont play but i know things n i wann aget started :D

  • @InsanityType66 and 25 cymbals. :D
