Before the show...The "OTHER BANDS" were warned to stay off the "HUGE TONGUE" in that it was reserved for "THE STONES...Ronnie Van Zant being the Rebel he was instructed Collins, Rossington and Gaines out on the Tongue and the burned the joint down...Afterwards they hung out with Jack Nicholson while the Stones didn't come on until almost midnight...

OOHHhhh Yehhhhh. I remember that clip so well. I was 18 growing up in Australia with ACDC/ Kiss/ Black Sabath/ Led Zeplin. And one morning on a pop tv show the girl announcer said that they were going to show a song from a group from America called Lynyrd Skynyrd and Free Bird.
