  • This lawyer is crap. Why does he have a missing tooth? Anyone that is a successful lawyer would have a hollywood smile.

  • house is still up till this day one bad thing is that it was built on top of an indian who was buried there smh

  • There are no evil spirits, no good spirits, no demons, no angels, no Devil, and no God. He just cracked under the strain of a failed and insignificant existence. Truly sad, but nothing metaphysical, supernatural, or religious occurred.

  • my grandfather was the homicide detective in this case. Got defeo to talk after 18 hours.

  • Weber told him to say he was possessed so they could plead insanity. I think Ronnie was fucked up on smack and lsd with his rifle by him, then tripped out and thought heheard voices and saw a dark figure give him the rifle which he's picked up and killed his family and not known fully what he'd done til the trip wore off

  • 2:25 That's an old version of my website!

  • They question they ask is why no one in the family or neighbors heared gun shoots... Answer The gun had a Silencer on it? ( I'm guessing )

  • that is weird he kill his whole family i fill bad

  • WTC rsrs

  • How can he say,"What's not commonly known is that it's based on a true story" ? Does he think we all lived under a rock all these years, lol? Come on,even 30 odd years later, most people have heard of the Amityville horror!

  • @macksfischer there have been several people to live there since 79, and every family has claimed that the only 'disturbances' are annoying onlookers.

  • @msmithstud , True very true...but even if the house was Truely Haunted (and I;m not saying it is ) and any family who moved in after the Lutz's is NOT going to say anything at all if they experenced anything at all. They would want privacy and I wouldn't blame them. I do believe in Ghosts and Haunted places but the only thing to happen at that house was the Murders and that's all.

  • Butch has changed his story several times. During the trial, he claimed he was possessed by some Indian Chief who wanted the Defeo's off his burial property. Then he claimed it was a mafia hit, then Dawn killed them and he killed Dawn in self-defense.

  • @macksfischer Of course, it was the family that moved in afterward did a TV appearence along with friends of the DeFeo family to debunk all the movie BS. It is here on YouTube.

  • Ronnie changes his story more than the average person changes his underwear.

  • im scared :(

  • lol. this is great. It also explains a great deal about why I was always skeptical as a child. And then again as an adult. I never could really get into the movie. After DeFeo dies, someone should make another movie about this crime in the style of TCM. And get it right this time. The truth is what really sells.

  • Just noticed something with William Webber, he says in this report that he and the Lutz' had 3 bottles of wine when they were talking, yet in another report from a video I just saw, he said they had over 4 bottles.

  • @knightmarefan who really cares how much wine the man had? The attorney isn't the person who murdered his family. The attorney was not on trial. But, he's still trash because he defend DeFeo and he deserves to have a bad reputation.

  • That lawyer is a slimeball liar

  • @gatormcluski I believe that too, William Webber? More like William Liar.

  • @knightmarefan William Webber is pissed because the Lutz's cut him out of the deal when they found out Ronald DeFeo Jr was to make money off the book deal.William Webber IS a liar when he says the Lutz's made the whole thing up.He was making it up WITH them, till they cut him out,and he didn't make money off the "Commercial Venture"

  • I believe Ronald Defeo Jr was a Disturbed individual, and we all knew,he and his father, were far from being close, but then again i believe Ed,and Lorraine Warren's story when they went to investigate the house, and they felt a demonic presence,so i guess i believe a little of both.By the way this video mentions Allison was involved,No it wasnt Allison it was Dawn the oldest daughter

  • RONNIE WAS POSSESSED CASE CLOSED.

  • lol ok then....I still wonder how that whole family slept through all the gun blasts.

  • @29martian Maybe too much Blatz?

  • Ok, first Weber says they had about 6 to 7 bottles of wine in previous interviews, and now he's saying 3 bottles of wine (3 bottles of wine between 3 people who can probably hold their alcohol a LOT better than myself wouldn't make them drunk). What bothers me more is this supposed resemblance between DeFeo and Lutz. The only 'resemblance' between them is the hair and beard, of which was commonly worn/styled in the '70s. Other than that, they don't look like the other in the slightest.

  • @MissRyoko75 He says 6 to 7 in previous interviews, yet in one I saw earlier, he said it was over 4, but couldn't remember how many. More like couldn't remember how many he said previously.

  • I don't believe the whole 'possessed' while committing the murders. I think Ronnie was just a spoiled, drug addicted, fucked in the head sociopath. His lawyer is a goddamn liar too. I believe what the Lutz family's story though.

  • Marvin Scott sued the Lutzes when they claimed he said his stay in the house was scary. Steve Kaplan's "A.H. Conspiracy" picks the "A.H" apart. The Warrens appear sincere but their description of Kaplan are vicious and untrue. They are not trustworthy: I saw them in person and they worked the crowd w/scary stories and said they know the Lutzes and the house is haunted. The Lutzes have been discredited many times over, and to have them as friends says it all. Here's my real name: Glenn Allen

  • How the hell do u know, Ms, Warren? Did u ever speak to DeFeo personally, or r u just assuming shit? That's the problem w/ many ppl. They're more likely to make conclusions w/o ever having met a person. I guess it's b/c jumping to conclusions is easier. It requires no people skills.

  • i truly believe that it was dawn defeo who killed the whole family and the ronnie in an act of desperation killed dawn , but only ronald knows what really happened tht night

  • u know what... i have to go with you. but i think ronald only killed his father.

  • Ronald DeFeo Jr. has claimed over the years the murders were committed by his sister Dawn, not Allison, and he then killed Dawn. The name "Allision" is misspelled in the alledged letter from DeFeo. Hard to believe he would misspell his sister's name. In a hand-written letter from DeFeo, he calls for DNA testing. What would DNA evidence prove? Certainly not who the murderer is.

Marvin Scott is as interesting and intelligent as a bag of rocks. He won't let FACTS come in the way of a good story

  • Idiot, Marvin Scott (who probably no longer walks this earth - this is old footage), is a total buffoon. A talking head! I put my credibility in the Warren's. jvarela965 - what was a little kid doing in the house that night? He didn't happen to stop by while an investigation was going on. He looks strikingly similar to young John DeFeo, who was killed with his 2 brothers in that bedroom. Why don't you go spend the night at 112 Ocean Avenue (now 108), in Amittyville, and tell us your thoughts?

  • there were two boys marc and john

  • i bet if someone new moves in that house and decides to restore it to the way it was back in 1974..who knows shit might happen again

  • @Midnightryder7 I live in the Copiague (pronounced co-pay-gue) the next town over, when i was a teenager in the early 90's there was people flocking to Amityville, I even went there. BUT nothing happened, the story is fake, Yes the family was murdered. BUT nothing else happened! the people who have lived there since then have changed the windows and the sidding (the eye windows) and asked the town to change the address. and painted. Nothing happened or ever will!

  • So, if I can prove that the "ghost boy" is a person wearing reflective glasses, do I get $1000? Oh, brother.

  • How can they allow anyone to prove them wrong if they won't allow anyone to examine the negatives or photos? Yea, it's funny...

  • For Pete sakes, can't anyone tell that that "ghost boy' is a person wearing reflective glasses? LOOK HARDER, PSYCHICS!

  • there were no kids in that house that night

  • What the newscaster said at the end was pretty funny. Movie goer's are more civilized today, I hope!

  • This is why people dont know the true story they did wake up slightly People say Dawn Helped and Ronnie slamed her down on the bed knocking her out then killed her but this is inconclusive

  • Look closer and the little boy is wearing glasses and the light is reflecting causingt the glow around the eyes. Face looks like child actor who played the Brady kids cousin OLIVER in the last season of the Brady Bunch.

  • I agree with you on that picture and I believe the Lutz's story.

  • Watch AMITYVILLE THE TRUE STORY & THE REAL AMITYVILLE HORROR. Both on YouTube. You will see it was a hoax. The real Amityville Horror was the murder of the DeFeo family and how these people exploited the tragedy to make movies and money.

  • Thank u. Someone finally notices.

  • Whatever, i would not live in that house.. damn!!!!

  • R.I.P Hans Holzer!

  • stupid media, they got it wrong, Butch Said that Dawn helped, not Allison. he said that Dawn killed the 2 younger brothers: John and Marc and the younger sister: Allison. this is why the media sucks, they make little mistakes and get a story all wrong.

  • true plus allison i think she was only like 10 years old

  • Mike s pizza is better than Blue T,...and the Amityville Police suck DONKEY DICK

  • I had pizza once in Amityville and it was horrible! New York pizza is crap.

  • you shut the FUCK up!! you wouldnt know good pizza if it recruited you to put some of youre pepparoni like acne on top of it!! New York is the best for/and at EVERYTHING. YOU FAT PENIS HEAD ASSMUFFIN

  • That crap they call pizza in New York, I wouldn't feed to a dog! It looks like cardboard with lumps of poop on it.

  • you know who does eat it though? YA MOMMA

  • no way i didnt know that Allison actually did it O_o

  • good work..!! wota mystery..no one knows if it waz an incredible fact or a mere fiction fora lucrative reasons..!

  • maybe the ghosts left becuase they were expossed

  • You have to admit that George Lutz did look a lot like Ron DeFeo

  • yeah....how dd that happen????mb thats y mr.lutz experienced the same as ronney...and ppl who r living at ammity vill now r not experiencing nething

  • The only Amityville Horror that exists in Amityville is the

    AMITYVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT!!!

  • Awesome Comment Buddy.

  • I love how Webber changes how many bottles of wine he consumed with the Lutzes. If you watch the Primetime Live interview with him he says it was "definitely more than four." In this video he says it was three. I think he needs to get his facts straight.

  • @2wenty6ix That and considering he got Holzer to investigate the house in 1977.

  • The remake of the movie was sort of scary!!

  • well this video was 25 years later but it is weird that noone else woke up while the shotgun was fired.

  • Yeah, while reading the book based on the murders, I wondered about that also, hence, I have to think he either offed them one at a time seperately & then stage the scene, or maybe drugged them.

His motives was not all that different from the two brothers who offed their parents for money.

  • @serf3469 well, no one heard the shots because it was thunder and lightening that night.

  • @serf3469

Not only that, but the bodies were allegedly not moved from their original positions and (allegedly) no drugs, alcohol, or other unusual substances were found in the victims' bodies.

I would *love* to buy the house and restore it to 1974 (at least on the outside), but $1.15M is a bit out of my reach. Damn.

  • his sister probably tried to wrestle the gun away from him and thats why gun powder was found on her /

  • lol, it is so logical, the bastard was mentally ill, read paranoid schizophrenia symptoms, that will give you the reasons why this happened

  • My sister Allision?? HAHAH!!! Allision isnt how you spell it... I guess they need to go back to 1st grade just to spell Allison... haha wow

  • spelled possessed as pasest hahhahah!!!!

  • tha guy tha killed his family is he still alive and did he get out of jail

  • No he did not get away with it and he is alive in a prison in the state New York. He is sentence to six 25 to Life terms.

  • It's really annyoing they guy killed his family because he was a retard and had no life, and they mix up the story all the time.

Lorraine thinks everything is a demon or is pasest? Wow give it a break the people who live their now don't complain about anything .

  • read a book about it. do u know what u r talking about? just because u r "crazy" dosnt mean ur retarded.

  • When was this news footage released? Jesus Ed and Lorraine Warren are still alive. They were like 60 something when the murders happened in 74! It's like they haven't aged a day since then, but then again they are followers of the Occult.. folks?! These two IMHO are over rated, and pompos windbags buying into the house being haunted. BS!

  • Is Ed Warren still alive? I thought I had heard that he passed away in the last couple of years. Isn't that why Lorraine does all of the interviews alone now, or is it just so that the both of them aren't there to contradict one another's story :)?

  • If I had my guess, I'd say that this footage is from the early to mid eighties, judging from the style of the talking heads suit.

  • Nineties, I meant, not eighties.

  • The Blair Witch Project scared a generation...BLAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Curious as to where you obtained this copy of the video? This is the version I taped off of WPIX, I can tell due to the quality of the video and the sound. Just curious to see how a copy of a video I made for someone ended up here. Neat!

  • How could Ronnie have killed Allison in self defence after she commited the murders? Wasn't she 13 at the time?

  • He meant to say Dawn, the older sister. That's who he's always blamed it on. She was 18.

  • He meant to say this...he meant to say that...Same sad story, over and over again.

  • Yeah. It's a really sad story. I think he killed them all. But I have to admit that the idea of 6 people getting murdered like this and no one waking up and there being no struggle or attempt to flee is hard to explain. Plus none of the next door neighbors heard anything. That would sustain the idea of there being multiple assasins. There would have to have been three people. I'm tempted to believe something supernatural was at work.

  • I've written a great deal on the Amityville case, and I am still unable to speculate on if the "haunting" indeed happened. So much could be said either way. Bottom line, it makes for a great story!

  • When did this air? They showed an old version of my site from before the last update.
