Nice race fellas... I have an 07 Si myself n love it! Both drivers in this vid were actuly very good, both kept the car in vtec the whole time. This race def came down to the better faster shifter, but the RSX-S had a huge advantage with the mods. An intake alone gives a big boost in performance. If the Si had equal mods, then that would have been a NASTY good race and would have been pure driver. Good job to both racers, VTEC FTW!!!!

I would probably go with the Civic due to being newer and more pratical (bigger room). However the RSX in IMO is probably the better looking of the 2.

Not bad considering the Type S has mods on the motor and the Si is stock. If the Si has the same mods i wonder what the outcome will be. The Type S is faster because it's lighter, the K20Z3 is a better motor with a RBC manifold, this K20 motor is actually the most responsive of all K20 motors. Props to the RSX though, sick stuff!

they both have the same motor, but slightly different thigs to them. for example, a b18c1 compared to a b18c5, the c5 is better due to better internals. so in reality, the type s k20 is better then the si k20. look it up, dnt take my wrd for granted!~

true, the motors are practically the same, i dont know too much on the k(b-series guy) but if im not mistaken, the a2(rsx-s) still uses a throttle cable and the z3(si) has a drive by wire, so the si will have a small lag when you step on the gas.

which is also a reason why i have not seen any k20z3 swaps into older gen hondas yet. usually tuners look for the a2,z1,or k20a. which all still use a throttle cable.

@RSWrite theres actually plenty of people swapping k20z3's in thier older civics. i went with the k20a2, mostly because i liked saying the motor came with 200hp 142tq than saying i have 197hp 139tq like the k20z3. lol. also, for Kpro. i dont want no gay Flash Pro.

and everyone else. it Is mostly a drivers race if its from a dig. the RSX-S is also lighter than the 06+ civics. 05-06 RSX-S is lighter by about 50lbs (not much really) and the 02-04 RSX-S by close to 100lbs.

05-06 Type S is faster since those put out 210 horses. Other than that it should be an driver's race. I own an 09 Si with light weight HFP rims and good tires, and i've taken Type S by half a car on 4th gear. I think the 09's lsd really helped, that and the bigger cams are the advantage of the new Si, but the Type S definitely pulls harder.
