this pllace stinks my kids werent allowed to get oars when they wanted them and the employees hate kids and are always crabby and this place is the most expensiv resort ive been to

This really is a classy operation. I think of as upscale resorting. Birch Lake is spectacular with some of the oldest exposed rock formations in the world. Lush forest all the rocks in the 20 miles of lake are marked so boating is a breeze. I've never stayed there but stop in there often in the summer for ice cream treats while out fishing. Excellent staff and always feel comfortable going there... Highly recommended.
