  • He really was a handsome man and he obviously hated being unmasked. Great man of mystery and one hell of a wrestler! Wish somebody would interview him now in his retirement.

  • 3 falls in 4 rounds?!

  • @AlexDCl: 2 out of 3 falls. Big Daddy got one, Kendo got the rest.

  • Fantastic remember watching this on Saturday Afternoon, as a kid at the time I thought it was proper fighting (How wrong was I).... Still good to watch though.

  • I remember my ex step dad telling me a story about Kendo being unmasked in a match and running fron the ring with his hands over his face, he says a female fan tried to grab him and he smashed her in the face with his elbow

  • AWESOME! Ha ha....lost his mask

  • Brings back memories of what Saturday afternoons were like, glued to the telly watching World Of Sport!!!

  • Kendo is English born and bread

  • @RickstaRIIx - yes, I believe his real name is Peter Thornley, a former Judo champion.

  • R.I.P Shirley Crabtree

  • was kendo asian?

  • wow - big daddy actually selling....

  • @alanlovedog: You should have a look at Big Daddy vs John Elijah if you think that, it's quite an eye-opener

  • @alanlovedog i would not say he sold that well as also tryed to take the spot light after the match, the only way he would lose was if he could take somthing from this match and that was kendos mask.

Big D is a legend, but he got what he wanted all the time

  • oh, man. Takes me back to Saturday afternoon's at my grandmothers.

thanks for posting and reminding me :-)

  • ah classic wrestling, better than that wwe crap :)

  • staged but funny

  • Looks like the only match Big Daddy lost

  • @kanenkitten I was big daddy loss a 3 man tag team match at Derby once. That was due to the fact no wrestler on the other tag team wolud face big daddy Giant haystacks was in the other tag team . This was not on tv

  • Looks like a case of Daddy not wanting to go over without gaining something in return.

    Thanks for uploading

  • The DVD called 'The best of Wrestling' is available in most DVD retailers, you should be able to get it, it has been out for sometime although it has not been heavily advertised, I remember seeing this bout the first time in the 70's, it was hard not to be curious about who Kendo was although at the sametime I hated Big Daddy for that and was glad Kendo beat him.

  • Fat cunt daddy .Kendo should have kicked the piss out of him

  • the thing is in Kendo Ns, 1971 appearance against, Bill HOwes, which was televised, his mask comes of in the Televised appearance, Vs HOwes, but no camera angle really picks his face revealed up, although ringside specators may have seen the face of Kendo N.,

  • Hi, have you got the full match?

    Regards

  • hi, no sorry

  • @michaeljulia123 thats not the real Kendo Nagasaki

  • @Obelisk72

It is Peter Thornley aka Keno Nagaski,

  • @Obelisk72

It IS the real Kendo. That was filmed at Solihull Civic Hall, I'm in the front row along with my Dad and his mate. Brings back memories, it was quite a revelation to find that clip on here!
