@NSOMH Well, I hope you're kidding, because some commercial seed growers coat morning glory seeds with a chemical that makes them unpalatable for this reason. You're bound to get really sick before you get high.

i dont understand what is wrong with getting high you have one life and as long as you dont get addicted or go driving there really is no reason to not get high once in a while most people think alcohol is good but other drugs are bad that hypocritical.

@pspkid225 If people choose to get high that's their decision. Although, I strongly discourage people from experimenting with things like wild grown seeds because you could get really sick. You know, the opposite of that good feeling people are after.

@MrBrownThumb I um Kinda tripped off these last night for shits and giggles and the shit actually works. But be prepared to be nausuas for about 30mins to and hour, also hahaha they have a strong laxetive power so you will probly have to poop with in 4 hours hahaha. Its cool though ate 3 1/2 seeds felt like shrooms and exstacy but weak needed more. My buddy ate 4 or 5 was 30lbs lighter and tripped balls.

@DritonGusia Hi, In most parts of the country morning glories are annual. They die down in the winter or with frosts, but they usually come back because they drop a lot of seeds. If you're worried about seed production, stick a qtip in the center of the flower and pollinate some of the other blooms to ensure your flowers get pollinated.

my morning glory is about 50cm long,Im waiting for it to bloom soon :)

Th current pot is a bit small,so Im afraid it may not grow enough to produce many seeds

So Im wondering,how many seeds shall I expect to collect within a month from it

I just cant find any information about this anywere yet

Anyways thanks for posting this vid, I did not need the tips but it was nice to see a vid about harvesting some MG seeds, I am a big fan of the genus Ipomoea.

I cannot wait for this seasons tobacco seed harvest, its going to be huge like last year. I always have to many seeds to deal with so I am starting a business all about cacti cuttings and seed and vegetable/fruit seeds.

@peaveylove Yes kids extract the LSA from them, when I was young I had a buddy make an extraction with some ground up heavenly blues and eat the brown goop.

He said he got very high off of it, sound stupid to me though I just find it funny the things people go through to get high.

@MrBrownThumb I have 2 MG's Planted on Nov. 1, 2009. It is huge and started to flower 8 days ago. So, two questions:

1) How much time will it take in your experience untill the first seed pods are ready to harvest?

2) Almost every flower gets pollynated so it will become a seed pod or just a minority of them?

ntomic1, Just about all of them will become pods. It usually takes a couple of weeks for the pods to form and start to mature.

You can collect the seed pods in the Fall or wait until Spring & Summer. They are pretty tough and will remain on the vine, unless they're eaten or disturbed.
