@medallo41 My friend went to the Shakira concert this last weekend here in San Francisco and she said she caught her lip syncing and on top of that she was like 45 minutes late starting the show.

i love both of them.But beyonce is known for killing eveybody when it comes to live perfomances.and cmon guys...Beyonces body is RHYTHM no female dancer today has that kind of rhythm throught they body.we really cant expect alicia to be doing all that...wish she wouldve released the damn video already though.is it really that serious?

if i hear one more IDIOT talk about songwriting im going to explode.Beyonce was the FIRST black woman SECOND overall woman to win ASCAP International Songwriter Award and they do their RESEARCH.Notice almost all of her big hits Crazy in Love,Survior,Independent Women, etc all have her name front row on the credits.and if she wasnt involved on a song her name isnt on the credits.this is just haters TRYING to find something bad to say when she isnt out making sex tapes or getting high

@MJBKfan4ever it's her TEAM of writers that they are rewarding. Not Beyonce herself. Makeba Riddick (who wrote 5 songs on B-day), The-Dream, etc. These people are the hard workers, and they work hard to be associated with Beyonce so that THEY can win the awards. They know they wont get shine, but its the paper they are after anyway.

@luhkelsgoinhard93 matthew knowles purchases many of beyonce's songs. Purchasing INCLUDES buying the rights to writing credits. One example is BC Jean, who wrote "If I Were a Boy." Just because an artists' name is on something doesnt mean much these days. What I am trying to say is, the music industry has changed. Because an artist is "more authentic" if she has writing credits, she will do anything to get them. Im not B hater, but there's the truth for many artists.

@VABoy10 - Alicia was pregnant during this, also she performed prior to this during the other part of the concert, Bey came out fresh.
Also bey is more of an entertainer than alicia being a singer so there will be a big difference.
I don't think the difference between the two is obvious to a normal person, they had fun on stage so leave it at that.
Oh and also, the video got cancelled and wont be released.
I guess she missed the summer to release it. Lets hope it gets leaked!

@yungjoca I think you missed my point. I'm a HUGE beyoncé fan. You can tell that through my page. I'm team Beyoncé all the way! She is the best living entertainer in this age/generation and definately a soon to be legend in the music industry.
I think you should cut Alicia some slack, yeah she did OK not as good as Bey but alicia isnt even beys style. Just enjoy the performance and enjoy it more with Sasha dominates the stage :)

Her image has always been piano focused, she has never had a video with a dance routine, FOR A REASON.
