@noizeof77 Do you think it's really a 91 if it has the SC V6 and a five speed? I keep reading all over the net that the ONLY engine available in a 91 XR7 was the 5.0 HO.

@BeulahLips No its not a 91. its an 89-90. All im saying is those wheels were available from 89-91 for the xr7 models, even the 91's with the 5.0. So those wheels are correct for the car.

@BeulahLips nope from 1989 - 1997 they also had the 3.8. the 5.o was around from 1991-1993 then the 4.6 took over the 5.0. And no the 5.0 was not the high output! this is not a super coupe so it probably came with a 3.8 witch he probably built up and put a supercharger on it.

i had one just like it but mine was an automatic. i loved my cougar but the damn thing was a lemon.there was always something wrong with it. it had some 17 x 9 1/2 inch alloys. i miss the damm thing. nice vid!!!!!!

This is a 89 or a 90 sc XR7. Mine is black. You can tell by the supercharger whine and the tail lights. The 91-94 looked a bit different with their tail lights and the front grill. The sc 3.8 V6 version was discontinued for 91 and the V8's were much slower than your very nice crap kicker... Just stay outta the gravel though. These cars are getting pretty rare. =)

yep, defiently 89 or 90 as thsoe were the only 2 years the Cougar was supercharged. 91 went back to the 5.0

In the US, yes, but the XR7 continued being SC 3.8 in mexico until 1993. I have read this several places but i don't live in mexico so i've never seen one. i used to own a 91 3.8 cougar LS and then a 93 tbird SC
