Since they aint a Chistina Band then they are an alternative band with Christian views this is why they were on a Christian tv channel talking about their faith and how it influences their music much like Switchfoot or Creed. It was an okay song but I would much rather Glen Danzig do his own acoustic version of Mother. What next is The Script going to do an acoustic version of Fade To Black by Metallica lol

Anberlin don't declare themselves as a "Christian Band", although some of the members are. A lot of magazines and christian communities picked up on them, naturally, because of the lyrics. They're a really talented group and don't go around trying to convert the world. (I liked this cover btw.)

I wasnt feeling it when I heard him do this cover in concert, only because im used to rockin out to the song. BUT as it was stated before, its Stephen, and ive grown to love it. I wasnt feeling it when I heard him do this cover in concert, only because im used to rockin out to the song. BUT as it was stated before, its Stephen, and ive grown to love it. Of any musician I know, hes one of the only people that could pull this off...he can make the hardest songs soft, the softest songs hard! Hes the man, I love him! (and Nate Young) ;-)

Interesting version of a great Danzig tune. The singers voice is beautiful. Soft, yet powerful. And yea, his chin is cool. He also looks much cooler now since he ditched this emo haircut.

I don't know, i feel like they've taken all of the power out of the song. It's supposed to be a real tongue-in-cheek spit in the face of the PMRC and music censorship, but i don't get that from this. I'm not saying it's terrible, I just don't think it really fits.
