I find it ironic whenever a vehicle gets stuck, it automaticly becomes a POS... In reality, If it has wheels and tires, it will get stuck one way or another and differnt situations. And it dosnt matter who makes it or where the parts came from. I dont drive any of the "big 3" and i have a truck that wasnt made since 1975, and I still drive it daily today, and was built in America. And yes, Ive had it buried in sand.. No big deal....Its all part of beach driving.

True but for the most part all wheel drive is the same as 4 wheel drive... Jeeps are considered 4X4 vehicles, However they have 4 Fulltime transfercase, which puts power to the 4 wheels all the time, that is the same thing as AWD. The diff between the 2 tho, is that Jeeps have 4 Low which is why they are said in diff terms however its all basicly the same thing.

Carova beach? The only think you have to worry about there are deep ruts late in the season. On most of the beach right now you could ride a bike with racing tires down most of it. My Honda CR-V has been out there many times and it only got sorta stuck when a 1st timer was driving it and didn't know how to cross a dune.

I live in SA and we know desert very well & Toyota will not live next2 GMC or Chevy cars, in 1 of our trips, we covered around 600 miles in desert; our cars were Toyota LC VX-R '10, Yukon SLE '10, Tahoe z71 '09 & Nissan Patrol '10. The most car get stuck in sand was the VX-R; no matter who drive it!
