Michael Myers has been shot more that a dozen times, he's been thrown off a two story building, set on fire, cut, stabbed, you name it; yet, he survived through an entire box set of seven movies.

Pennywise is all talk. Myers gets the job done without flash. No need to show off. Anyone and everything would fear Michael, so he doesn't need to form into anything else.

@3lephant3ars I reckon It is better since Michael is just predictable in my opinion. I find it somewhat more thrilling for a person to be driven mad by all manner of illusions and terrors before being eviscerated. Crazy killer vs Unknown creature that can be anything you fear... I'd go for the Unknown personally... 'mind over matter', as they say. Also at the end of the movie "It", you hear It laughing which could suggest It can never really die just like Michael. That's just my opinion.

@WWETNAfan315 Another reason why IT is better is because Pennywise, being the form of a clown, uses the more subtle fears of Coulrophobia. Michael just goes around hacking people to shit (to put it very bluntly) - next to no imagination required for that. Also i don't like horror creatures in general that can never die. It just makes the movie so much more predictable. Interestingly enough, i also hate it when the horror guy does get killed by some pubescent teenagers. Funny isn't it.

@3lephant3ars That's exactly my point on Myers. It's just stupid how he can never die. Why not just start the movie with everyone already dead because we all know that there's no chance of them defeating him so they might aswell not waste our time waiting for the inevitable. Now something like The Creeper off Jeepers Creepers (2) is more like it. While he can't exactly die (as far as i know), he can get fucked up so badly that he's helpless. Also he kills with style. That's my personal opinion.

@DamienNight666 FINALLY!! Jeepers Creepers was pretty balanced, he can die though he just comes back on (that date i can't remember). It was also a more entertaining movie that strides a little farther away from the typical horror movie with the ungodly monster/killer.

@DamienNight666 Valid point, I feel Stephen King's use of his eternal character of fear was put to poor use as he wasn't scary to me. He left victims alive at the end of his one book, his one movie. Michael has been in seven films. He survived as much as any immortal killer could withstand [shot more than twenty times, set on fire, fell off houses, stabbed wherever - you name it]. Pennywise frightened more than killed. Myers may be slow, but he gets the job done. Slow and steady wins the race.
