@btlewis25 Which engine you have, the 305 or 350? Also did you reprogram the computer without the cats? It has upstream and downstream O2 sensors that tell the computer what the timing should be. A little back pressure is good it helps somehow to remove the exhaust so the engine breathes better. So actually it would be better with a high flow cat and good performance muffler, and don't forget about a good cold air intake.

@mondo78 i have a 350 crate.... and yeah i have the sensors reprogramed. i have plenty of power just its so hard to pull in the mud cause of the high rev with no tire spin. i tack out before my tires even get a good chance to spin over when tryin to pull people or if im in soft mud

put a 3 in body lift for 100 bucks, and get you a set of 33 in swampers that fucker will go anywhere and still ride good...or if u don't wanna lift it u can fit 33's under it stock on the stock wheel just get a MT tire you won't belive the diference of a mud terrain vs. an all terrian there's no comparison im tellin ya i got a 90 z71 cranked torsion bars, offset 15's with 32.11.50 BFG MTs with straights it will eat the mud up man id do that shit in 2wd

i work in a garage and one of the mechanics has a 93 chevy lifted and it actually rides really smooth, but if your foot gets heavy like mine on backroads, your better off leaving it stock
