Yes they had three on order, but it was when the UP SP merger went down and they came painted in UP.

Yes those are factory installed QSI sound on the lead, and the new blue line sound in the second unit.

Super video... Could have used a little more photage of the grain train. Was that KATO SD40-2, with working ditchlights, in the front ?

No that is Wesolints Athearn unit that he detailed and added the ditch lights to.
That was my same engine from the BN/MRL Grain Train video. I will be adding a video of this grain train after my Trains Across America postings are complete.
