He thinks talking about Obama will gain Him freinds. Some of the people around Him can't stand Him. If he is smart, He would stopp at the Governors House and leave this mess to some one else. But if He or Palin Runs , I will vote against Obama and for one of those two. Not to be mean but to help Him out of office, so some One else can take this baby on out.
All this Guy will do, is make it a law nation wide protecting His race from fines killing animals in the back yard. Sheds in America house yard equipment and junk. His People use them as slaughterhouses. I visited St Louis One time and in the news, that city was having trouble with People throwing waste from animal slaughter in the city trash cans. What did They do? They gave them the right to carry on, just put the waste in containers. THE NEW AMERICA
I like how he completely dodged the question about changing some of the platfom views on social issues. The only thing that is going to attract is the lowest of the low; no self respecting American should subscribe to a party simply because they're honest and have alternative solutions. Certainly these should be two elements someone seeks out in a politician but are not reasons enough to compromise your own values and support someone who doesn't agree with what you believe in.
A very BAD case of the SHITS is SMARTER than Governor Jindal. The way the RepubliCONs are going, they're well on their way to losing MANY more Senate & House Seats & becoming extinct....what HUGE hypocritical dumb-shits they are!
JAN 20 - THE END OF AN ERA....I MEAN ERROR!
"The road to hell is paved with RepubliCONS." ~S. Hannity
Exactly. Hardball questions? These just sound totally reasonable and straightforward to me. Since when has the right become so terrified of debate that unremarkable, middle of the road journalism like this becomes threatening?
What a hypocite this Jindal is. He said that he is not taking $100 million of the stimulus money; but what he doesn't tell you is that Louisiana is getting $4 billion. So in reality, he is only refusing 2.5% of the money and taking the remaining97.5%. But when you hear him on the cable news circuit, he makes it sound like he is refusing ALL of it. Jindal, if you don't want the money don't take any of it!!!
He keeps talking about "conservative solutions," but I don't think that he really has any concrete ideas on how to fix most of the problems that the country faces. It's not tax cuts. It's not slashing the budget. Like it or not, the largest employer in the US is the Government. I hope Obama gets to face Jindal in 2012 so that he can have an opportunity to respond to the ridiculous and empty remarks by the Governor.
As a defector from the republican party, these are the ways they will win me back:
Quit fighting evolution. Its reality, deal with it.
Quit fighting abortion. Its about personal choice.
Quit pushing religion. The US is a secular nation.
I am a small business owner. I want the gov meddling as little as possible. I'm a gun owner, dont take them away. I want to see a balanced federal budget, don't spend more than you have.
The last 16 years, theyve chased off all of their secular supporters
That's the problem no Republican can be center right because of their rabid base. Those fundies will tear him apart if he dares to venture to the right. Look what they did to that poor geezer.
Jindal has spent more than any other governor before him. He increased the budget by 1.1 billion dollars, He has grown state government by 4 thousand people during his so called hiring freeze, He gave all his buddies big raises. Now he wants to spend 1 million dollars of surplus money on a bridge off of a mud road for a private enterprise. Jindal is nothing but big spending and more government.
IT doesnt matter who the Republicans try to prop up to make their party look more diverse. The reason why the GOP is bankrupt of ideas, is because they have become of the party of No. Boring Jindal is no different. Obama's popularity would drown out this bore.
Hahaha. Haven't you been keeping score on the polls lately, Bubba? Obama's popularity is still the highest of ANY incoming president. Mid 60s is pretty damn impressive. The fact that he went in with over 80% is unheard of. As far as the DOW, that will get better in time. the market is shaky right now. Let's see who'll be wetting their panties in 4 years. Boring, monotone, Ivy league Jindal doesnt stand a chance with young voters or Hispanics when it comes to the Obama brand.
haha well i'm glad you admitted that all obama has to offer is coolness. but i'm afraid the economy isn't powerd by charisma....and yes the Dow will continue to drop, just as it dropped another 250 points today....it hasn't been this low since 1997 during the clinton period. Current polls also show that if the HoR elections were held today that the GOP would take 60 seats. so actually your panties will dry up in about 2 years when the gop takes back the legislature. his current rating is 60 btw
Take back 60 seats??. LOL. Gotta stop getting your nipples hard reading red state poll numbers, and listening to Rush and Hannity, Bubba. History shows that approval ratings for incoming Presidents usually go down once in office. According to the polls assessing Obamas one month job approval: Gallup 62%, ABC News/Wash Post 68%, CBS News/NY Times 63%, Rasmussen Reports 58%, CNN 067%, FOX News 60%. Among Democrats 94%, Among Independents, 50%. Only among Republicans has it gone down.
I think the only ones wetting their pants are Republicans, desperately trying to find a voice, after having their asses handed to them in the past two elections. They are up against a very popular president, whether you like it or not. Maybe your saviors, Boring Jindal and ditzy Palin will have a strategy. They have four years to brainstorm. Other than that, continue to be the party of No while Michael Steele tries to bring some 'bling bling' to the RNC, and we will see what happens. hahaha.
well i'm sorry he's not entertaining enough for your limited attention span.
so why don't you go listen to obama scream "change" and "hope" a few hundred more times....and while you're at it you may want to watch the DOW plunge to a 12 year low...now that's entertainment!
Here is what is entertaining, Bubba: Seeing the Republicans add a little color to their GOP lineup (Steele, Jindal, etc.) to give the impression of diversity and youth, Jindal looking like he just walked out from using the toilet before giving his God awful lackluster response, Steele attempting to add a little 'off the hook' bling-bling to the RNC, and the Republicans trying to figure out if Palin, Rush, or Jindal should be their spokesperson. Now THAT'S Entertainment!
Imagine if David Gregory actually tried to corner BHO the way he went after Jindal? Jindal was brilliant. Lefties need to resort to something better than name calling against those with whom they disagree.
Republicans spent like drunken sailors on leave during the last 12years. Now that the other party is in charge they've become fiscally responsible? Sounds hypocritical to me.
PS: Try putting your country before your party you'll realize there's no us vs. them.
Under George Bush and republican majorities in the house and senate government increased in size by almost a quarter and don't get me started on Reagan and his cold war spending. I'm not new to American politics I suspect my memory is just sharper then yours.
Why do all leftists retort just like children do? Mommy did it, why can't I do it! Daddy did it , why can't I do it? Bush did it, why can't I do it. Democrats are childlike in every fashion of the word.
your logic is as stupid as your politics. republicans claiming fiscal responsibility are everywhere the actual number of truly fiscal conservatives are few. since 1776 america has accumulated $9trillion in debt over half of which was incurred while a bush was in office. shove that up your partisan hole.
what a moron! it's one thing to SAY you have 'conservative' solutions, it's quite another thing to actually HAVE them... and to harken back to Reaganomics, is to yearn for days of deception and corruption that has morphed into mythological proportions yet which at their core the basis for the financial contraction we are now undergoing. Thank GOD this is all the Grand Obstructionist Party has to offer -- he's a loser!
I agree. The GOP is full of narrow minded conservatives with weird beliefs like government is too big, that it ought to be limited, and that the private sector, not the government, drives the economy. I am so glad the GOP is out of power because these ideas suck. What we need is a bigger and more instrusive government that spends more money, watches over us, and takes care of us from cradle to grave. It is also critical that we raise taxes on the people that already pay all of the taxes.
your sarcasm would make sense had not the last 8 years seen the largest increase in government and government spending. Personally I'd rather see my tax dollars being spent here than bombing Iraq.

Just watch tuesday night, Jindal's speech will blow away Obami.....
After 4 years of Jimma Carter #2, the moderates will rush back to the GOP in droves, especially when the "Welfare Bill" doesn't work....
Hispanics will also go to Jindal in Droves, just like in Louisiana, he is Catholic, and Pro Life, two things that hispanics certainly are.
The Dems have over stepped, they only won moderates in swing states, most of which will fall back in line behind Jindal...
