  • ya but an ambulance is covered by insurance and most people dont pay directly out of pocket the wholw cost of an ambulance. remember that means YOU TOO if you get lost

  • 100 percent agree on the fact that Richard Heene gave his son something to make him sick, ESPECIALLY since he was sick the next TWO interviews....sick guy. (Richard...not Falcon)

  • Don't make vids with misleading titles (no charges yet filed) and such extreme closeups (it's a rant video, not a skin cleanser commercial).

  • when were charges filed? I searched online and couldn't find anything about it. What were the charges? Why is your face so close to the camera?

  • Balloon boy? Is he like Spiderman, but was bitten by a helium balloon?

  • Carrie Lee you always crack me up. Really enjoy your videos.

  • Thanks! So glad that that's the case! ;)

  • taxes pay for munipalities like helicopter rescues numbnuts. do you pay the firemen when they put out your house fire?

  • they should waterboard the father till he tells the truth.then pay the rescue bills.and be black listed from tv.

  • You're absolutely right. I love your rants. =)

  • What a waste of money searching for a "missing boy". I can't believe people would be so stupid to try to get famous by fooling the authorities. I agree with all your points. I think they should go to jail for a couple of years though- stupidity should pay.

  • u mean stupidity shouldn't pay

  • I agree ...they should pay...they wasted a lot of taxpayers money. I don't think Falcon was given something...I think he was feeling ill because he was being made to lie. Nice video....not too sensational or extreme...just a good commentary....you made sense.

  • What people do to get attention, fortune and fame!

  • Go fart and get on with your life.

  • Okie Dokie... :P

  • U r hot

  • Danke.

  • I agree on many of your points, the father is an idiot. the family should have to pay for their idiocy. it is not right to deceive the mass populace.

to quote my father, "God loves stupid people, cause he made a lot of them.."

  • Oh, I think I shall start quoting your father!

  • Dudde I Didn't Know When It Was Happening, I Was Like Almost Cryying I Was Sooo Scared.

    Then I Was Sooo Pissed.

  • Awesome vid Carrie very well said.

  • Hey, Notes. How you doing? All's well I hope? :)

  • Hey Carrie, yes thank you, just moved house so my husband and I are trying to get everything set up as well as trying to get his training sorted out, who said being an Airforce wife is easy haha (TAFIG)

  • I saw the reporters cheering when he hugged Falcon. Now it would be great if the reporters took back that praise by booing him when the camera comes on.

  • Totally fair!

  • The reason I disagree is because the taxpayer already pays an exorbitant amount in taxes for these types of services (police, fire, rescue, etc..). These government groups have already lobbied themselves into very generously paid positions (less we not forget their premium healthcare plans and handsome retirement plans) and now they want to charge us when we actually use the services that weve already paid for—ludicrous.

  • I don't think the dad poisioned his kid, speculating drama makes the situation worse. I think the kid was ill because he was forced to get up at 4 am for an east coast show. I agree the dad is an idiot, but I doubt he would actually harm his own kid.

  • Part of me agrees with you. And I would never want to think he would actually hurt his child. But someone else commented here, "would you be surprised tomorrow if you heard that the family had done (x)?" Probably not.

  • VERY well put!

  • So you have a green screen and dont use it........do you know what its even for?

  • Baahahahahahaaa! Dude, are you for real?

  • So charges were filed??? For what tho? ahah!

  • Charges have not yet been filed as far as I know, but I do know the possible charges are:

    1. Conspiracy,

    2. Contributing to delinquency of a manor,

    3. False reporting to authorities,

    4. Attempting to influence public servant

2 and 4 are level 4 felonies with the max sentences being up to 6 yrs in jail and up to $500k fines.

  • Wow they're screwed!

  • I figured that Falcon became sick because he was being forced to do something he wanted to do. Which is lie, and he was just under so much stress that he got sick. Kids will usually get stomach aches, and headaches when they are under alot of stress. They usually cannot verbalize it but do show physical symptoms.

  • it just happened, it was shocking and a bit fun :P

  • A bit.

  • Miss Carrie Lee, you look very cute in this video! :) As for the main story itself, yeah... some people will do ANYTHING for attention. I've just uploaded a video of the same name on this subject (not necessarily on the Balloon Boy). Waste of money, time, and all in an effort to get some reality TV show deal. Why do people do these things (for reasons besides being bloody fools of themselves)? Great video, Carrie Lee! Well done with great points expressed.

  • It was no montauk monster...that's for sure.

  • It's sad that they are getting exactly what they want by all the news coverage and us talking about them. It's a shame what they are teaching those kids.

  • It's not the real Myumi Heene posting here, nor is 'her/his' channel the real Myumi! For a start Myumi speaks excellent english w/oriental accent! This fake is doing the 'cully & lice' for curry & rice number: "For u say bad things about my family..." lol! Trying too hard 2 sound like a bad-speaking Oriental! Myumi's not the little submissive 'leave my family alone' type. She'd tell her adversaries to go fuck themselves, in other language maybe. She's a feisy intelligent opinionated woman.

  • Once Falcon had sampled his dad's wrath (after his: "You guys said we did it for a show") he'd obviously been told 2 say the right thing, this time!) so became so anxious to please his dictatorial dad he got physically sick! His body language shows how uncomfortable that child was forced to lie by his own parents!

Not v. good role models. My parents taught me 2 b honest. that lying is 'bad'. But maybe not all parents have high values & principals. The kids' behavior in Wife Swap was atrocious!

  • Even though it wasted money, I think it was worth it for the enjoyment everyone had watching it for hours. haha :)

  • I still say that it's amazing noone ever questioned the fact that a balloon that size COULD NOT hold enough helium to lift a child!! To have that much upforce would require a balloon many times that size!

  • I have no doubt they'll get a reality show and millions of morons will make it a hit.

  • My boy is good boy. We no hoax anybody so leave us alone!

  • A big I don't care

  • They should tie the dad to a balloon

  • The only thing is if this was a real emergency the municipality wouldn't send them a bill for all the man hours and flight time. That kind of financial hit might cause people to weigh the cost before they act in a real emergency so the government "normally" doesn't do it.

Since this was a hoax though they should get a bill for every single nickel.

  • I'm sorry but If I fall in the woods and break my leg, I don't want to pay for the 28 hours of searching.

If I hide my kid and lead the world on a goose hunt, then sure, I should have to pay. But not if it's a real emergency.

  • Hmmm, CarrieLee's ass on tv....now that is a fine reality show, me thinks... :-)

  • carrielees ass is on the screen. just look at the vid above

  • They need to remove the father from that family before he gets someone killed!

  • no cause he was nervous about having to lie. u can't time Ipacac to puke at that question.

  • No, you can't time ipacac, and it wasn't necessarily ipacac, if anything. I know when I'm sick to my stomach, the last thing I want to do is talk. And if he was made to feel sick, having to speak may have made him vomit.

  • BravooooOOOoooooOOO

    " saludos desde barcelona "

  • Falcon. Really. ??? Falcon. Is that even a name for a kid. ?? That's like for animals only. That's not even humanly fair for the kid.

  • Falcon is a beautiful name for a child! Noble & Powerful! It sounds like the name of a Native American Warrior or a Tribal Prince!

    A very strong empowering name.

  • yeah, but hes not a native amercian warrior, or tribal prince, so it sounds a tad ridiculous :P

  • Ppl are being more adventurous wen naming their children nowadays. We're bored with names like 'john' & 'george' & 'mary' & 'jane'! Exotic interesting names like 'Peaches', 'Blaze', 'Amor'...& 'Falcon' is no different to calling someone 'Violet' (a color); 'Daisy' (a flower); or 'Ruby' (a gem). Perhaps years ago ppl thought the name 'Rosemary', which is a kitchen herb used for cooking, was a 'tad ridiculous' too.

Life changes & grows constantly. We have to move w/life or be left behind.

  • Also when u are given an emboldening name it affects who u become!

Yor *name* defines who u are: a wimp or a warrior! (And I use the term 'warrior' here as a powerful pacifist who uses his/her mind rather than the sword!)

  • I hope they throw the book at the stupid father!!!. And CarrieLee you have a very beautiful face!! (:

  • Thank you and I agree!

  • Falcon vomited because all of the crack smoke

  • I'm thrilled to see that charges have been filed, and so quickly. And like you, I'm hoping they're ordered to pay back every damned cent that was spent on it.

  • Moosie! How you been?!

  • Ha! Doing pretty well, Carrie. I had a blast at SouthTube 3 the first week of this month, and got some decent footage of the fun while putting my new Canon HD camcorder to the acid test. Wish you could've made it there. If only we could both manage to make it to the same gathering at the same time... LOL

  • One of these days, moosie, one of these days.

  • you have a purrrdy mouth

  • Muuuuah!

  • Could you get any closer to the camera? Nice touch! I'm so glad that I don't have a TV.

  • I'm trying to eat your face :)

  • Great report Carrie Lee, & i never noticed before how much Marina (hotforwords) looks like you, well, she's not quite as good looking as you, but i think she does have some of your good qualities, are you two any relation to one another?

  • omg, I wouldn't have come up with that!

  • love ya darlin!

  • :D Yay!

  • I think he was vomiting because of all the pressure he was under from his parents. The way the dad reacted to his son vomiting was one of disgust.

  • If the news stations were smart they would stop all coverage of this dipshit but Noooo the reason so many people do stuff like this is because they know CNN will feature it. Pitiful.

  • I thought it was for the Wolf Blitzer interview. I may be wrong though.

  • It was. Larry King was on vacation but it was indeed Wolf Blitzer for the Larry King Live show.

  • Good commentary. Have you seen the Wife Swap clips of this family (especially that kid and his dad)? (I saw clips on "The Soup", which is probably the best place to see such things.)

Also...holy cow, are you close to the camera. I had this in full screen, and I felt like you were either trying to kiss me or eat my brains.

Either way, I think your husband would be disappointed in you. :-P

  • I was trying to eat your brains. All vlogger have to do a super close up once in a while. Its in the manual.

Why would my husband be disappointed?

  • Well, you kind of want to know if you're marrying a zombie. Then you're a little more careful about bringing guests home. XD

  • I am AskCarrieLee's E-Husband and I approve this Vlog (even though she did not eat your brains).

  • Hi Carrie Lee, I have watched your videos for awhile but this video was awesome. It was such a new vibe, didn't seem like a "show" video, it was like we were just sitting around talking, you came across super real and I found that really refreshing. I really liked it.

    Anyways, just my .02 :)

  • Thank you! That's the vibe I guess I was going for.

  • You are a looker though =)

  • I'll take that.

  • Umm sorry but you looked so good I forgot what you were talking about......ok kidding I think you are right on this one Carrie... Couldn't have said it better! and really wish I could dispute you (

  • so I got messages (both IM and FB) while this balloon boy thing was going down, & everyone was all tweaked out, & yeah I thought about scouring the web for live info, but my feeling was "probably a hoax." He's in a closet, was my exact thought. Wanted to post that online & reply that to my friends, but I figured all these people all worked up, they must have seen him in the balloon, screaming & crying as it faded out of sight, right?

nope. not in the balloon. HOAX.

    Lemmings! turn off TV's now!

  • great coverage as always Carrie Lee.

    and you're still hot. ;-)

    peace

  • Thank you morris!

  • The Heene's should just had gotten themselves a YOUTBE channel! nothing positive to say about the parents (adult units)

  • maybe Falcon was vomiting because he really didn't want to lie anyone.

  • Several people have said the same thing. I don't disagree. I was just making a suggestion.

  • Unfortunately this guy succeeded. He's been on the front pages and headlines for the past day or two.

    Expensive publicity stunt? Yes.

    Effective publicity stunt? Yes.

  • 15 minutes of fame is all he will get. Other than that, I hope he gets jail time. What's the point of fame really? Fuck fame. People have lost the meaning of life and it's evident in Richard's case.

  • I didn't say it was a lot of fame.

  • i agree. i think they should be fined....

  • That stupid family had better pay somebody back...Poor kid, getting jerked around at 6. SIX. What is wrong with people. Talk about giving one's kids a bad example of how to be an adult.

  • publicity for what? what are they selling? aren't they just some random family?

  • No. They've been on TV twice and were doing all they could to get publicity so they could get their own reality show.

  • Great video!

  • Thank you!

  • I agree with you 100% I don't trust the father in the least.

  • Not as far as I can throw him!

  • I predict they will be the next big Youtube sensation with 1 million subs! ;-)

  • you are probably correct!!

  • Münchhausen by Proxy, interesting.

Ah, the Fame Game. They need Celebrity Detox for 15-Minute D-Listers.

  • BTW I thought Balloon Boy was just critiquing his father.

Weird how Meredith Vieira kept talking during the boy's critique. Diane Sawyer just let the boy spew.

  • Funny, I was just reading an article this morning that said something about the father & Münchhausen by Proxy.

  • this is really just the end result of voyeur tv getting way out of hand, it was bound to happen, jon and kate, megan wants a millionaire, so glad fox reality network is going off the air, about time.

  • lol great

  • thats ashame fot them to cry wolf with kidnapping

  • i dont get the story about the balloon boy>

  • Joe, do you never say anything nice anymore? Geez...

  • Your hot, can we make babies.

  • Um, no :)

  • Agree, agree, agree...except for the jail comment. And, I too was wondering about the vomiting...One way to look at that question would be 'If you heard tomorrow that [x] had happened, would you really be surprised?"

  • Think you went to far with the dad making the kid sick. The weather balloon, sure that was for publicity. Letting it go as well for publicity. However, his kid being the balloon was something he did not plan.

Also, if a close family member of yours was lost, you wouldn't be so quick to say that you should be footed with the bill. Part of my tax dollars go to rescue and that's something I'm willing to pay for.

  • You're right. When someone is genuinely lost, that's something I am very willing to pay for. When someone deliberately tells his son to hide in the garage in a box, edits a video to make it look like his son was going to get into the balloon, tells his six year old to LIE, all so he can get his own show? He's been trying for years to scheme a way to get a reality TV show and has been on "wife swap" twice. I have a problem paying for that!!!

  • The thing I wonder about is what might have happened while those police and ambulances were out of position because they were tricked into chasing what they believed was a child trapped in a balloon. Suppose they had been needed in their normal patrol areas. The authorities should throw the book at the people who staged this publicity stunt.

  • And now we say (Failed).

  • You can consider me one of the gullible ones! (*sigh* story of my life, LOL) Man, that story had possibly the biggest twist ending since the first SAW film. But all joking aside, looking back on that whole deal, I could understand how anybody would not know it was a hoax from the start. Thankfully the kid was OK, but the parent should seriously suffer the consequences of their actions.

Great vid as always, Carrie. If there was a really show that I wound invest my time in, it would be yours :-)

  • Same here...I bought it hook line and sinker!

  • I was at work while all the drama was taking place and didn't catch on until he was "safe". If I had been home watching the ordeal I may have thought that it was real too. Being a parent, those things get right to your heartstrings.

  • Yes aunt Carrie-Lee, it was indeed a hoax. I do enjoy your videos but you have this bad habit of assuming things. The dad gave the kid something to make him throw up? Come on now, that's very far fetched. Yes the dad is a douche-bag for trying this lame stunt but I doubt that he would intentionally hurt his own kid. If I was the judge, I would give the dad a year in the slammer. It would give him some quiet time to ponder his stupidity.

    - Paul Seveng

  • I do wonder sometimes the lengths that some parents go to. It does seem convenient that twice he was interviewed the day after making a statement that damaged his fathers story, that he vomited twice while being asked to repeat what he had said. Just sayin'.

  • I didn't know that he vomited twice. I thought it was just once.

  • First he vomited on Good Morning America, then he vomited on the Today Show.

  • I hope he vomits on Barbara Walters.

  • My compassionate side told me they were telling the truth!! Man, I am eating crow!!!! URHHHHGGGG

  • I heard they could be fined $500,000 and get 6 months in jail. They could be made to pay restitution for the search and rescue mission and other civil penalties on top of that. Now that's a real expensive publicity stunt.

  • I will add to my last comment that this family was on an episode of Wife Swap a few years back.

  • bad dad lock him up

  • soooooo annoying! LOL WASTE! damn balloon bitch!

  • Love your ghost video!!!

  • Is your nose brown yet?

  • good God man, what are you spewing about now?

  • Those people should seriously be financially penalized for their actions. Just another example of how people abuse the taxpayers' money for stupid shit.

  • "Sorry balloon boy, ima let you finish. but Curious George had one of the best fictional stories of all time" - Teamsame :)

  • LMFAO!!! I knew someone would come up with a Kanye twist!!

  • Comment win!

  • I hope they are put in jail for a long time....

  • yay i fiewd 1st lols I think the hole things a joke and i wish the kid was in the balloon lols

  • Lol I knew it! =D
