  • The clicking sound a cat makes is their frustration they're feeling.

  • Wow what a motor I can hear her purr over the chattering!!!

  • lol my cat does that all the time too!! she also chirps instead of meows =] too funny

  • i love this it's so cute

  • Awww she is so cute! I just love calicos.

  • Might have been a good vid if it weren't for that annoying clicking in the background.

  • @ardvarkkkkk The clicking also makes her chatter so I was doing it a lot to get her to chatter more. Sorry you didn't enjoy it :)

  • SWEET! Reminds me of my calico Holy, they look so similiar. Love kitties!

  • omfg cat squirrel :]

  • She's so pretty!!

  • my calico does this when she watches the birds right outside my patio doors. she's nearly 2 now. when she's sitting at the doors and watching it seems like she's really anxious and upset because she cant get out there after those birds.

  • Wow I didn`t know cats would do it with laser pointers!

  • Haha yea, she's a strange one :P. She still does it till this day (she's about 1 and 3 months).

  • @Eevee2Glaceon4 My Cat Elli dies it as ell. Annnd shes sitting in front of the screen watching the video as I type this kinda like "Heyyyy! Is that my sister?!" haha.

  • She is so pretty!! :D Ive never seen a cat do that before! What does it mean when she does this?

  • Thank you! My sister found her at 4 weeks (along with her sister) and I fell in love with her! I wasn't too sure about the chatter so I looked it up. "When a cat kills prey, it bites down quickly several times. The "chatter" is simulating the cat's behavior at the time of attack.

Alternatively, it's pure and simple frustration. When a cat is stalking or killing a bird, they're almost invariably completely silent. It's when they are shut off from the prey that they chatter."

  • do cats do that a lot?

  • It depends. My cats do when watching birds, or if there is something interesting moving around. If you have a cat, you will always know if there's a bug or pest in the house because they will find it, and will likely chatter if they can't get to it :)

  • beautiful cat though, love those calico felines

  • good video
