A classic in it's own right. I grew up on Herb. His Tijuana Brass tracks were the first music I ever heard.. been a music lover ever since. One of the things that helped this awesome jam up the charts was Luke's rape of Laura on General Hospital. This was playing during that scene. Drove it right to Number One.

There's no other words to be said.. Genius , Pure Genius.. I met Herb in 1979 @ Peaches Records and Tapes on Peachtree in Atlanta, while on the Rise Promo Tour. I was 15 years old.. I was shaking as I approached him , and while he shook my hand, I was close to passing out.. THIS WAS and IS MY HERO ! Go Herb.. I love you now, even more and Im pressing towards 48 years old. You were in your 40s when you recorded this and YOU ROCK !

Memories of Okinawa Japan in 1979. I was a Marine stationed there and every morning waiting in the Chowhall line Armed Forces Radio would play this tune at 0800 hours. Man! 32 years have gone bye so fast. Such is life but certain songs will take you to a certain time and place in your life.
