  • I have posted all the commercials that I have at this time but I'm always looking for more.

  • Are there more of these old PSA? I like this one.

  • I remember these spots! Brings back memories...to you guys below bad-mouthing Unity: apparently not all Unity churches are alike. I belong to Unity of Greenville, and you could not find a more loving, accepting bunch of people, even if you're a guy in a skirt!

  • @Weewretch Maybe part of the problem is this is TEXAS!! At Contra Dances in many States, men are wearing skirts (as men not as female impersonators) but the North Texas contra dance group told me they didn't want to restrict what I wore to their dance, BUT asked ME to restrict myself! I retain their uncivilized message in my files and as a printed document to prove them for what they are "civil rights are only for style selfish females."

  • I have posted all that I have.

  • I know there were many more of these shown on tv in the mid '70's.It'd be great to see more of these posted mainly to see all the different actors who appeared in them.

  • Ex girlfriend is lover of the Unity way of thought. It sounds good at face value but it is seeming to go down hill. Really, I'm still searching. Now that I research a bit, it may not be the way, just a crazy ex.

  • Unity Church professed to be open & inclusive BUT let a man come in a skirt THEN they say he has "a deeper problem, there are many good ones" (many good Mental Health Professionals) YEAH like the VP of Natl Medical Enterprises who spoke at Unity Dallas in 1991. NME was later fined over $300 million by the Feds for RACKETEERING including KIDNAPPING. NY Times, May 27, 1876 p. 6 said women in pants needed "treatment" at "the best conducted hospitals for the INSANE." THUMBS DOWN TO UNITY CHURCH.

  • That man played Senator Deveraux on Days Of Our Lives back in the late 80s/early 90s!!

  • I seem to recall one back then with Greg Morris.

  • @noahf67 Yes......The word was DOING.

  • The great Joe Campanella.

  • lol

  • What the Hell is this crap?

  • Yeah you're right---the only honorable thing Unity Church can do is disband. Its mgmt is hopeless, the minority of reasonable folks there should exit and land elsewhere. BOO to "DR." Donald Curtis, "D" grade actor. I was treated with arrogance at the FW location because I was wearing T shirt instead of a suit and tie. Unity DOES have 1 thing in common with Unitarians---they both side in with the garbage mental "health" (social conformity or else we'll hit you with a bad label) CULT.

  • @skirts365 I was a Unitarian-Universalist for years. I have no idea what you're talking about. That faith tradition is humanist to its core. It prizes science above superstition and fantasy. Other than WICCA, it is the most feminist I've seen. None is more accepting of gays and lesbians. Best of all, it has no creed. It's more concerned with deeds. So, I think you need to explain yourself. Your expression makes no sense based on my direct experience.

  • @bobjfs UU replaced "sin" concept with "mental illness" concept, yet the MI concept is a scientized glaze over from the Inquisition & witch hunts. UU is open place for athiests, most mental health cultists are athiests. UU attracts psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers ALL indoctrinated into "transvestism" myth re men in skirts they can't tell skirts from bras one is stereotype other is intrinsic I won't go to UU & be called cross dresser like calling Black "NIGGER."

  • @skirts365 In nearly 20 years, I've never heard that term used to disparage anybody. As a matter of fact, we have gay, lesbian, transgendered, and bisexual members everywhere in UU. Yes, there are atheist positivists, but there are also religious humanists, theists, deists, pantheists (like me) who are more like Emerson's Transcendentalists, and even WICCAN witches.

If you did go once, it must have been long ago. Try it again. It's not been this way at least since 1991 when I joined.

  • @skirts365 i would be looked at weird if i wore a shirt and tie to the Unity Church at FW.... i don't know what experice you are talking about but i have many friends who go there because i go to a Unity Church in Austin and no one is suit and ties.

  • @CICinc123 They had entire turnover of membership? I was treated like escaped convict due to T-shirt and slacks, only 1 woman was semi-friendly I sent them a zip file afterwards showing my stock account at $3.6 million saying had they treated me right I would have told them what was going on they could have profited more than I did I LIKE getting even success IS the best REVENGE and I am very REVENGE motivated. Money for the just not for the unjust. Discrimination based on clothing is WRONG.
