  • Hit #1 soul, #26 pop in Billboard. God bless!

Exactly. The Tempts are the greatest group of all time.

  • The 2nd best version of this song.

The best is by Phobe Snow!

Man oh man I wish you knew how good that does my heart....

  • Is Eddie Hazel playing with them here? That solo sounded like his style, but it could have been Wha Wha Ragin

  • i'm wondering the same thing myself! billie bass with with them too, and i can't see behind dennis edwards! <-----i was in his car when it was wrecked!

  • As a matter of fact, Eddie and Billy WROTE this song!!!!! They were a part of the band at that time.

  • @e37a Note: Eddie and Billy wrote the song did the session, however I was the drummer for the tempt's at that time. 1976-76, and the Bass player and guitar player were other cats.

    God Bless

    D.B.

  • No one could move like those guys. It is a pleasure seeing this vid.

  • I love watching vintage temp footage. No matter how tragic their personal stories seem (from the made for television shows) I truly believe that they did get some really great enjoyment spreading their great sound, displaying their moves and boundless energy.

I do not think that you can be too tragic if you can stand in front of audiences of people all over the world and left them clapping!

  • Looks like Lon Fontaine choreography. He spread them out on the stage and had them do those big moves like that, JMO!

  • what year was this?

  • 1975, Glenn leonard had joined the group fairly recently.

  • dont you classic five lovers get your draws tight, but that boy dennis really brings the funk! I am not saying david couldn!t bring funk or ali woodson, because the producers didn!t take the group in that direction.

  • Does anyone know if Cholly Atkins did this choreography?

  • I believe in the 70's they were being coreographed by Lon Fontaine. Cholly worked with them again in the 80's up until his death. Lon, who died recently, actually did the coreography for a bunch of the songs in their show now, like How Sweet It Is, and Can I get A Witness, From the 2006 Reflections Album.

  • Uncle Lon certainly did work with the Temptations and my cousins, siblings were always around the house while they worked. It was great times.

  • This is definately one of my favorites.

The Den is a ten in this one

    He rocks this song.

  • Fabulous, truly rare footage! I love it! It is wonderful seeing them in a raw live performance.

  • DO YOU HAVE FIREFLY AND MEMORIES??

  • Hold on, they're comin'!!!

  • Wow you will be putting memories up soon.
