go Hilgers...best tuba player ever and such a nice person with great calm.Music reflexions came out to be a great project.Thx for directing us.Great experience
There are, in fact, more Tubas WITH rotary valves than w/OUT. Not very many Euphoniums, though. A Euphonium with rotary valves in very sloppy, unclean, etc.
ALL Bass Bones have rotors, BTW, and most have two.

Very good! Playing these types of arrangements isn't easy, and writing the arrangement takes an exceptional amount of talent. Outstanding.

thats wunderfull Instruments!
In Germany It's very hard...When you want to play in a Big Profi-Orchester you must play the Haydn-Concert on a german rotary-trumpet in B flat

whoa toba with french horn roters ?
jordan22711 4 years ago
those arent french horn rotors, lots of tubas have rotary valves now, as well as euphoniums. In fact my bass trombone has 2 rotary valves

Shouldn't the plural of 'euphonium' be 'euphonia'.??? Seriously though, this is magnificent stuff.

Actually some early american bass bones had a single piston valve, but your right in that pretty much every bass bone players horn has rotors
