I am not critisising the Vedas. I just notice that Hindus in the comments here confuse this version with scientific facts. And I hoped that Hinduism is interested in truth whatever it is and that it isn´t as dogmatic and impossible to discuss as the Abrahamic religions are.

there are other VEDIC quotes that say the earth moves around the sun also, but i cant find what you/your vid claims. next time try being more careful and thorough in your works and comments. thanks

@TheVedicStudent and actually if you cant prove in the 1st place that the srimad bhagavatam puran, or any sastra, says the earth is at rest and the sun moves AROUND IT, then i dont need to get concerned with this in the first place. prabhupada never said this that i know of. he did say rascals sometimes misquote him and sastra. but if u can prove it with a sastra quote i might check that.

Vedas are much deeper in terms of Knowledge . Shastras are diciplines , which are much more advanced and relavant in today.There are so many Branches of Shastras yet to be understood by we people . Dont waste time in tryin to prove which author or publisher was true and fake etc...

Vaishnava means Vishnu (tattva) worship. That is foundation of Vaishnava worship. We have all respect for Shiva he is always mediating on Lord Krsna, so is Lord Brahmājī said, "I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, who plays on His transcendental flute. His eyes are like lotus flowers, He is decorated with peacock plumes, and His bodily color resembles a fresh black cloud although His bodily features are more beautiful than millions of cupids."

erm ya know I find that this geocentric model is rather fantastic. science does not require a leap of faith to be understood. but rather pure self evident knowledge. it is not based upon speculation nor blind faith but rationality. like wise Hindus should never rely upon blind faith. we must be at the forefront of science and spirituality as we always have. The Vedas mean Knowledge. And knowledge in all fields. We have to use our intelligence. Assertions have to be corroborated by evidence.

Yes Krsna is the Source of All Incarnations. Krsna is Supreme Personality of Godhead. Visnu incarnations are emanated from Krsna. So after you are liberated from Material nature you can go to numerious planets either where Krsna resides is the highest Planet! Onions, garlic and mushrooms are all food in the mode of ignorance. They are not

offerable to Kṛṣṇa and therefore devotees do not eat them. That is why devotees don't eat food which are offensive to Krsna. You can eat beans etc for proteins. Don't be to stuck on mushrooms thinking only mushrooms provide protein other foods like bean etc also provide protein. You will need to learn how to

combine grains, beans and milk products to assure adequate complete protein in

your diet.

You can buy it at amazon. About the actual texts you will have to research into that. We don't specialize in that field. But that book has everything you need to know about how to eat properly and remain sin free.

@TheVedicStudent you eat to be healthy. theres no such thing as consuming something sinful. garlic and onions are extremely healthy. they remove toxins. the guy who came with that book needs to do his research.

theres no such a thing as food that is "offensive" to Shri Krishna. LOL Come He is the Creator of all creations. If something was offensive He would have not allowed for its creation in the first place. Lets not be superstitious like the Christians now.

Please go look at Ayurveda and its meaning behind garlic and onions. Don't speculate on something you don't know. We follow in footsteps of Past Gurus in our Parampra. If you think you are superior then preach your own philosophy and see where do you go. But we will simply follow the Great Mahajans. Thanks you. We don't like to argue about mundane matters. garlic and onions are quintessential in any diet. they may produce a pungent odor but they compliment and complete any dish. the reason why I am bringing this up is because if theres something healthy I dont see a reason to avoid it. It has long been a part of my diet. but since you advise against this, i will do more research.

We follow Vaishnava-dharma. Meaning of Vashnava: Vaishnava means Vishnu worship the highest of all other modes of worship,-such elevated Brahmins are called the Vaishnavas engaged in the transcendental loving service of the Lord, and as such Srimad Bhagwatam which is the science of devotional service is very much dear to the Vaisnavas.

People who eat onions and garlic emit a very bad odor also. Just like smokers smell, so do people who eat ^ it's rather offensive to devotees

You can eat whatever you like. I am telling you my personal experience and people who eat those items smell really bad. The Vedas are divided into various categories, because not all people are on the same level. Some worship ghosts and spirits etc. So their has to be a division..just like not everyone can become a doctor or lawyer..Vaishnava worship Visnu Tattva because he is the source of everything. So the division is natural according to the persons realization..
