  • hugh jackman on punked was funny.......<where did that come from

  • HOT!

  • There you go America, that is a real man, funny, smart, great sense of humour, down to earth, kind and not at all thick headed about his success. Only kidding, but i am certainly glad he is an Aussie and proud.

  • @spinking458

He is a hot!!! no question about it. Love him

  • Okay, I'm not trying to anger Hugh Jackman fans if your not a fan with Robert P. But his smile reminds me of Robert.....

  • i prefer his long hair, dont ask why

  • Hugh will always be Wolverine to me, which I find strange when I see him out of character in interviews!

  • @marvelmax03191 i bet you'd find it strange to hear him singing 'oklahoma'

  • @ShawDAMAN I have indeed! He was good!

  • @marvelmax03191 haha yes he sings well.

  • i love Australian accents!!!

  • What is he saying at @3:10 ? :)

  • @Mhentalo "Take the jet, in Europe wherever you'd like to go. And I was like Hey O.K."

  • in a mosh pit of senior citizens

  • he is a very warm person and a good story teller too

  • quite possibly, the nicest man in Hollywood. fo sho =)

  • @atlantafalconsvickat Go to Glasgow and say "aye" is gay, or anywhere in Scotland, Northern England or Northern Iron, good luck

  • @atlantafalconsvickat I'm a wanker, all British men are......

  • hey anyone who knows how tall Hugh Jackman is? Cuz I've seen him on pics with Daniel Craig who is 5'10 and Hugh Jackman is said to be around 6'2. Could this be true? Just curious, because in the pictures next to Daniel Craig the height difference is very small.. it should be much more, imo. I'm only 5'10 1/2 and I stand kinda short next to my 6'2 buddies. So that's why I'm wondering. I think Daniel Craig must be taller than 5'10 or Hugh Jackman is shorter than 6'2.. what do you think?

  • @Spyflugan91 Hugh Jackman is 6'3. :)VERY TALL ISNT IT?

  • @Spyflugan91 i think i've heard that jackman is about 6'4. I think Daniel Craig is taller that 5'10 reckon he must be about 6ft?

  • He's so cute, I love Hugh Jackman. Both as an actor and a person, he just has a great personality that everyone warms up to :).

  • @atlantafalconsvickat wanker means what you guys call "jerk-off" basically....

  • 4:30 he spits, at letterman

  • as hot as hugh is i was confused throughout all of the fountain. until the end. til the very end i had no idea what was going on. it probably didn't help that i watched it at midnight. but there you go.

  • his awesome!!!! his extremely nice in person, his house used to b in the street next to mine. he was trick or treating with his kids on halloween, when we saw him we started following him, it might have been obvious cuz there wernt many other pple on our street, he said hi after he noticed and invited us to go trick or treating with him (probably just to be polite) so we said no and we left his kids and him alone, it was probably just his home to escape the fame and all but his now moved out,

  • OMG REAL?!?!?! AARRGGHH! I'm jealous..

  • you are so lucky!

  • Can you imagine turning up at a gas station in the middle of the night and finding him behind the desk????

  • Awesome job, guy. He's an aussie.

  • He's so FUNNY! The rock concert story was hilarious! Poor Hugh. haha

  • jealousy right there

  • God, he's gorgeous....

  • Jackman comes off as one of Letterman's most natural and sincere guests. Seems like a decent bloke.

  • Ok... I really like hugh jackman.. but thinking egypt is in europe really got on my nerves :P

Such a nice guy and thinking egypt is in europe.. erm.. yeah.. pass on that :P

  • I assume he was joking.

  • he was joking dickhead...called sarcasm

  • Yeah, he is clearly joking. Just trying to push it with the private jet.

  • He was just being sarcastic (-:

Of course he knows that Egypt is not in Europe.

  • im pretty sure it was just a joke

  • zulawoo, he was obviously joking... ever heard of sarcasm

  • Yes it is, it on the tuesday and we get the monday and the tuesday off

  • hes been in egypt! GOD DAMN

  • He is so talented and such an incredible person, I would stand inline to see whatever movie or play he is in!!!!!

  • And I would tread on small children to get to the front of that line

  • What a sexy beast. But I must counter the last comment and defend his role in Wolverine. He played the ruggedly handsome bad boy role so well. Just because it is an action film doesn't mean that anyone should discredit his ability to play roles with depth. He's a multi-faceted kinda guy. :)

  • yes, especially considering that he seems like such a nice, cheery guy in real life. so he should be given more credit for playing such a different character than him, and doing it so convincingly.

  • The best role of Hugh Jackman. Wolverine is au concour.

  • Doin Aussie Proud mate!!!

  • The best film and one of the best actors.. ever. Tx for posting. =)

  • really? i'm totally going to go rent it

  • AGREEEEEEEEEEED!!!

  • gayboy agrees :3

  • im gnna agree to all of it but he gta b da best at all these after me

  • u totally read my mind

  • Naturally, I agree!!!

  • Me too, he's amazing, but in Wolverine (Origins) He's just overdone himself .....

  • DEFINITELY!!!!

  • @cesarhp2007 Brad Pitt?

    hell yea : )

  • @cesarhp2007 i do agree!

  • @cesarhp2007 and hes australian, got all the best men, me for one....

  • Lol...got yanked off the stage by an old lady lol...

  • what a gentleman.

  • erm... he knows that. It was a joke...

  • I think he did a good job hosting the oscars.

  • The Fountain was an amazing movie.

  • he is amazing!

  • i thought it was great

  • a mosh pit of senior citizens. hah.

  • C101tx101 That is your opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

  • thats your opinion

i think that oscar had many hosts that were comedians and its finally time to have hosts that could do more than just tell jokes

and Hugh Jackman did an awesome job

    he was very entertaining.

ANd do not speak for the entire auduience. Incase you didnt know, The audience seemed to LOVE IT, so much so that they gave him a standing ovation.

  • perfect qualityyy!!! thanks :)

  • isn't australian accent similar to british accent?

  • Well he had a dialect coach, I believe, when he did a british accent in kate&leopold. so I'd say it's pretty different..

  • completely different

  • He is sooo sweet!! Love him so much ;-)

  • Australian accent is sexy.

    Welsh too actually..

  • yep, we aussies are pretty damn fine. lol

  • damn straight! hahahaha

  • beautiful

  • Shit, he's got an Australian accent?

  • he's from australia...

  • I know that, but I heard him only speaking in american accent in the movies he was in, so it's a bit of a shock when I hear his real accent.

And who dares to give me negative votes?? HUH?? Bloody youtubers! :P

  • he looks really sexy in "Australia". Movie is really long but its fun to watch him.

  • Sad : I watched this video 8 times. I just can't get enough lol

  • i love him so much i can't wait for the oscars

  • That movie is a level of crazy that I can't wrap my head around at this point in the semester, and yet I would sit through it again and again just to watch him.

Fortunately, he has other movies. What an amazing guy.

  • Does anyone else get the feeling that Dave rushes people off the stage?... Hugh barely said anything and he was being rushed off!Anyways what a beautiful man! Very talented!

  • Gorgeous. Gorgeous Boy. Stunning. Talented. Knock-out! Drool-Worthy. Yummy. Yummy. Yummy.

  • aww i adore this man.

  • Me too. He is such a lovely guy!

  • aww hes soo cute :]

  • his personality is adorable. let's not talk about those incredible looks.

  • Ive seen the movie. It's massively trippy and metaphysical, almost perplexing.

  • fark hes got a deep aussie accent, but maybe davids yankee accent emphasises it.,,

  • and its hot.

  • I wish he was the next james bond! did u see that interview on the view? *whistle* Bond *wink* James Bond. aww he is so gorgeous!

  • Australians have a public holiday for the Queens birthday but we dont have one in England!!

    That makes me laugh.

  • ...We'll take any excuse for a day off work.

  • I just saw this movie last night and I gotta tell you, it's amazing. Very innovative and original. I regret not seeing this when it was in theatres cos the preview interested me and the movie was everything I thought it would be. Watching the dvd features, they should have gotten more attention and awards for this film a lot of hard work was put into this 5 or 6 year making of the movie.

  • Why would the host think Australia would have an American holiday such as thanksgiving? Does he think we celebrate American independence day too? LMFAO Surely he would know the history of Thanksgiving and know it's origins and that it has nothing to do with Australia. Or maybe he's just trying to make the audience away we don't celebrate their holidays. ?? LMFAO

  • You do realise that the British weren't the first inhabitants of Australia, that there were these other people called Aboriginies who we slaughtered in great numbers, took their away their homes and also their children?

  • I do know the history of my own country thankyou and wonder what that has to do with my comment? You do realise that I wasn't talking about Australian history, I was talking about an American holiday that we obviously wouldn't celebrate... and why that would be such a weird thing. That's all.

  • It's obviously an American holiday, but one that could be so easily applied to the situation down-under. Letterman obviously knew that

  • How would an American holiday apply to Australia? The significance of it only applies to America and it's pilgrim/religous backgrounds. Though we share certain similarities its like saying Australia should celebrate July 4th because America is independent and so is Australia. So should 'Sorry' day be applied there too? The point of the original question was that I was wondering whether Americans assumed that their holidays are celebrated universally.

  • Looks like I don't really know anything about Thanksgiving (I'm Aussie), but I it looks like it could be practiced in other countries. Dave's question wasn't assuming that American holidays are celebrated everywhere, but more that the holiday could be universal though that is incorrect. It is celebrated in Canada though.

  • i'm pretty sure that letterman knows that thanksgiving is not celebrated in aust. so yeah.

  • abitpants: I hope u r not serious. you must not be familiar with Letterman; it was all a set piece, so HJ could tell his story; of course he knows that Thanksgiving is not a holiday in Australia.

  • Well I was just commenting that I would hope he would know that, and was wondering if he was trying to clarify it for his audience.

  • except Hugh lives and works a large part of his time in America and based on that story it sounds like he does celebrate it

  • Actually he doesnt live in the US. He lives in Sydney, and he has made his last three films in Australia.

  • Oh my, he is adorable and incredibly charming. I am absolutely jealous at the woman who has him. LOL.

  • They could have picked a better clip from the film i think. it's such a great piece of art.

  • He is very nice... maybe he is just a good husband and dad...great performer...simply amazing and very good person ...

    Thanx

  • wow what a hunk.

make that a hot AUSSIE hunk.

why are aussies such hunks? its not fair lol

  • Yeah, we're god's own chosen race, it's common knowledge down here :D

  • aussies got nothing on us kiwis

  • Lol! We love our ANZAC brothers!! Your bizarre accents are a source of endless amusement for us. ANZAC Day today!

  • a very charismatic hunk! he's literally perfect--looks, personality, and he's quite the family man. his wife is the luckies woman alive. more power to them. :)

  • She's definitely luckier than him lol!

  • I think Hugh Jackman is great and very good looking but his wife, no offence, is not that attractive and she's like thirteen years older then him. I mean age differences can work but theirs is kind of, well...
