I know someone that is kind of stuck and will not vary from her makeup brand. What makes that bad to me is because she can barely afford it. I tried to tell her to try other things..but she refuses and will not pay a bill to get the brand of make up she wears.

Honestly , I do get bored when people only use MAC stuff. There are so many brands out there , that it is kinda boring to just stick to the same brand . And for me , MAC does not work for me , I find their eyeshadows to be a bit chalky, and their lipglosses burn the hell out of my lips .

Omg, revlon color stay is the best, just like NubianLockedPrincess said. I am new to MAC and before I used tons of other products. I always used the cheapy stuff and then I found MAC and I was like...holy moly! This stuff stays on!! You can use anything though and make it work. Thanks so much for your sub!! Yes, I know what you mean. I started with MAC. I tried all of MACs foundation over the course of a year getting into makeup again. No one foundation worked for me. I mix foundations now. MAC studio fix liquid: NC50 and Revlon color stay: caramel. Mixing these products produced the perfect color with no oil break through with my very oily skin. Other than foundation, anything goes!

I LOVE Mac and I LOVE other brands as well. The thing that catches my eye in regards to watching MU vids is the creativity, the person, etc...not the brand. I will admit that Mac is not cheap but there are some things that I will ALWAYS purchase from that line such as FIX PLUS. There are some things that I will never buy from Mac again such as clear lipglass because I have found the same thing from the WET N WILD line for $3. Use what works 4 you be it MAC, NARS, ELF, COVER GIRL, RIMMEL, etc!

Exactly. You gotta do what you can with what you have. I have seen many of your personal videos as well as many others that show comparable products to the Mac line.

I like MAC, I use other products like UD, MUFE, and NARS. I use what works best for me. MAC is my number one because one I see it tor hear about it first. It was the first line where I felt like I could learn some useful tips, and some years ago, it was the only brand that matched my complextion really well, now you can go for the matte look, dewy look, sheer look. I remember you only went with the look that could match your complextion. Thanks for the response

i totally agree with you, its not a big deal when people make videos using only MAC products. however, i have a slight issue with people that ONLY do reviews on MAC products or very expensive products. its like, hey, i dont have that kind of money, you know?

but on another note, its really not my business to go and bother them about it like "hey you suck b/c you dont review inexpensive stuff" because really what it comes down to is just me not subscribing to them or me not watching their videos.

If you like makeup as well as learning new techniques watching makeup video or someone who uses only M.A.C procducts is not boring. While viewing the video you can find a like color to the one that person is using. That is what I do. Hope this helps someone.

That's exactly what you have to do...sample and find what works best for you...there are quite a few Mac products that I bought this year alone that in my opinion were a waste of money but I still buy and love Mac, just like it's other brands that I've tried that I don't like. For me it's not a matter of boredom, but everyone can't afford MAC. When I see people use MAC I just look for a more affordable dupe that will give me a similar look.

I love MAC, simply because as a new beginner I am rarely disappointed with the outcome when I use MAC products I see others use on here. I am obsessed with MAC, my bank account will echo this, lol! To be honest, I think the only other reason I have slacked up on buying so much Mac is now I get the 40% macpro discount. I'm rarely breathing down the necks of the MUA's at my local counter b/c I do all ordering online. Even with the discount can u believe that I don't buy as much?! I find each brand has something that each person can like and for me discovering MAC and using all the others some of what you mentioned I can honestly say I pick MAC as number one for me but love discovering new things in the videos.

Why hello there! I will stop by and check out your contest indeed. FYI I use the Canon SD750 it has a ton of Pros and the ONLY con I have is that it DOES NOT have an auto focus when recording my vids so when I want to show the product packaging up close...it's blurry and doesn't focus =( Other than that...it's a great camera!! NO problem at all...thank YOU for watching!

I think that alot of people love mac because they offer a great selection for everyone but even more so things that work for women of color. I could careless what products a person uses as long as the end result is fierce!
