  • terz mam taki telefon ale za ile chczesz kupic

  • can you still get this to work in america?

  • mr anderson,

    erm im jordan

    oh wrong number

  • Dang, I thought this thing was like a switchblade. Glad I didn't buy one on ebay for $100.

  • @norxcontacts yeah, I read all about it back in 1999 & 2000, cuz I was a geek in high school & computers & electronics were my thing then Also...the Nokia 7110 that drops out a Fedex Envalope when Keanu Reeves (AKA - Neo) opens it, had a custom special spring-loaded bottom plate so it would *Snap* open. Switchblades don't always open vertically like that though, only "Stiletto" switch blades do. But that's not *That* bad ass of a knife, go to Google & search Images for a "US Mark 1 Trench Knife"

  • The problem with tech in movies is it is always dated pretty much when the movie is made.

  • i wish this phone had the springloaded mouth piece to make it slide down automatically like in the film

  • it looked better in the film and at the time, my memory has been funked!

  • This phone is really good i have it too also have the one made after this with the button which makes the phone flip out its better man if you keep this mint it'll be worth some money ;-)

  • @AhdMeUp Just like my commodore 64!

  • mein gott das ding is scheisse kauf dir n ordentliches handy

  • i have one, but both slim/fat batteries are dead :(

  • you still have this thing for so many years? does it still make calls?

  • sprzedasz

  • @gnuta2 Przykro mi ale nie planuję sprzedaży tego telefonu. Pozdrawiam

  • tez mialaem taka :P teraz chce 7110 !! :D

  • Thanks so much for posting this! I had this phone, before they updated to the 8110 with the scroll and spring loaded slider. One of the best phones I ever had. Don't understand the negative comments on here, this phone rocked! :)

  • Samsung SPH-N270. Find it in Google...

  • Comment removed

  • remembering my 7110...memories. =)

  • I like those old nokia but even if i have them i use only my iPhone

  • Nice one.

  • uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ok

  • the 8110 is the 900gsm band version and the origonal Matrix fone (spring addded by sfx dept) the later 8110i nokia written in gey not white was the 1`st fone with smart messaging/downloadable tones, they made an 1800gsm band and an orange one but the real mccoy is the 900gsm 8110i, nokia made the 7110 with spring loaded slider as a response to the public reaction to the 8110i in the film, the 7110 is 1`st WAP fone, i have both and love them, retro cool classics.

  • wajajaj me gusataba ams como antes xD

  • I had the 7110 which was similar but no where near as long! it has the similar flip down cover but had a bigger screen then this model. I assume the 8110 was for the US market and the 7110 was for the european market? eitherway both are kickass classics. I still have my 7110, there gonna be very collectable in the future so don't junk em

  • i am thinking of buying said phone from the matrix and have only one question:

is there a button to make the......thing go down like in the movie? ( first phone so dont know tecknical terms)

  • yes it does, its exactly like the phone in the first matrix movie. If your in the UK consider the 7110 because its designed to work on UK networks. The 8110 is a US version and may only work on the US networks. If you go on Ebay you can pick up the 7110 refurbed and immaculate for as little as £25. its a kickass phone and as cool as hell when it rings and you click the flip down to answer. I used to feel like Neo every time.

  • i have that same phone. was my first mobile phone :) but without that ugly "plus" logo. whatever that is anyway?

  • well i have the nokia n95 but just compare the 8110 and the nokia n97 man if i had to pick one of them as a lasting phone i would pick the 8110!

  • Racketer you just blew your own silly comment out the water, first you say this phone is a heap of junk, then later you go on to say it was a good phone in its day. Dont talk bollocks about a phone you didnt own, your dad probaly didnt know how to use it. I had one and I never had any problems with it. Probaly in nappies when this came out.

  • I had one of these Nokias cracking phone, Worked well never had any problems with it.

  • telefon z Plusa :)

  • Crazy.

  • banana fone

  • what a phone. Imagine using that now. Very big

  • I still use this very phone, ditched my nokia 6288 and got this. Much better.

  • well i think you need to get a life my freind

  • Huh? I sure don't think so, if I could tell you how much trouble my Nokia 6288 on 3G cost me I would run out of character space. Just lets say it had terrible features, network, signal, service all very poor, and don't get me started on how much problems I had canceling my account! With my 8110 I get much better signal and on a good PayAsUGo tariff. Sometimes the newest is not always the best.

  • that phone is a heap of junk. It is huge i remeber my dad having that thing when i was in primary school and im in college now. Yeah sure it was a good phone in its day but i mean its completly outdated and any of the newer generation phones would be ten times better in style, size and functionality. Mabey the nokia 6288 you had was just a crap phone but any new phone now would be better than the nokia you have now.
